Here we are wonderful Wednesday
ORDER OF PLAY

Of course I'm rooting for Ferrer- Vamos! But would love Del Potato to dowell too,so torn.
Kubot/Janowicz, bit difficult to call really.
Would love Berdych to triumph over Djoko- (then Ferrer can whup him in the semi'sGrin)
Am going for Verdasco- obs, as he's Spanish, and it would be wrong not tooGrin - I'm sure Murray is not without support!Grin

here's to a limited rain disruption!

Grin

fingers crossed he doesn't fall apart before Friday

Madamecastafiore · 03/07/2013 15:32

Am I the only Novak lover?

I think he very cute. He looks kind and gentle.

Nice skin, nice teeth, nice hair.

I like the thigh shots the camera does now and again!!

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:33

Got home just in time for both matches to end- Well done Potato!

If it's a Djoko/Murray final, I'm not fussed who wins, which makes it much easier to watch a final.

Hope Del Potato can get some miracle glue on his knee tomorrow.

Happy to see Djokovic win but sad to see Ferrer go...

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:34

Never mind Juan being happy - what about me?! So so pleased, really thought Ferrer would out-last him!

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:35

I'm very sad to see Ferrer lose, but he's had a brilliant summer so far- final at RG and up to 3 in the world. Vamos David!

No I like Djok too Madame, I just like El Potato a whole lot more!

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:37

Yes, Ferrer didn't do himself justice I don't think. Who knows how heavy El Potato's knee injury was weighing on him (Ferrer)? Plus he's had his own injuries with his toe etc.

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:37

Farley - I was trying to listen to the commentary in the car - they were saying Ferrer looked questionable before the match- he went on the practice court- then walked straight off. But definitely not to minimise Del Potato's win- bloody marvelous game, his shots were great.

Over involved, huh, MNHQ? Well, yes!!Grin

What is Boris wearing?

I always think he standing next to Tim thinking 'what are you saying you tosser?'

Don't know why?

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:39

Yeah, we're involved and proud!

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:39

Oops, over-involved, not just involved.

Madamecastafiore · 03/07/2013 15:39

Glad to hear it FarleyD.

He is mine though.

I am sad that I want the most attractive man to win over a country man!!!

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:40

I might watch Janowicz/Kubot- I feel a bit sorry for them. And the crowd on no1 look dis-interested. Sad

Gutted for Ferrer not keen on Mr Potato. Don't think Murray will have it easy but will probably win. Djokovic looks on fire. Maybe one of the polish guys will pull a big upset

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:43

i won't fight you for him Madame, I'm El Potato all the way! So, I too, am being disloyal in a way, but I'm sure Andy has more than enough supporters. I do like him, but not as much as El Pot.

Noddy, I'm ignoring you! Smile

Chubfuddler · 03/07/2013 15:45

I can't watch andy. Too tense.

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:45

seize - your visitors are overstaying their welcome!

FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:46

Oh go on Chub, you can do it! I came through El Potato's match! And, careful what you say, or else MN will accuse you of being "over-involved"!

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:47

I've never understood the need to support the home player at all costs. I never have, not Tim,Rusedski Andrew Castle Grin there's always been someone better/more interesting to watch. It's about the sport, surely, not the nationality.

I've still got a Spaniard to lust afterWink - though Verdasco is slightly greasy with his hair slicked back. It's better ruffled up.

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:48

And didn't we play nice, Farley- during the Ferrer/Potato matchGrin. Jolly good sports.

OP posts:
FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:49

Yes, we are good girls Raahh, no unsportsmanlike conduct here.

Raahh · 03/07/2013 15:50

Bloody hell- the stands are nearly empty on number1!Angry

OP posts:
FarleyD · 03/07/2013 15:51

I've never been a particularly big fan of British tennis players, mainly because they were always outclassed (in my very unknowledgeable eyes) by players of other nationalities. But I do like Andy, because he is properly talented, attitude and technique wise I think.

3littlefrogs · 03/07/2013 15:52

Isn't it a shame? Andy Murray is playing and the court is more than half empty. Sad

Is it because no-one can afford tickets any more?
