Thought we'd have a new thread for today.

It is raining cats and dogs (technical term) here in theNorth West- I am not very hopeful of a full days play at Wimbledon. but fingers crossed. The weather bloke last night today would be 'Frustrating Friday'in terms of play. Fond of alliteration, those Wimbledon types.

he is lovely. Nadal is still my number one player, amongst the dozen Spanish players I like- but Ferrer is a very close second.

Don't know about medals, but I now have a tennis spectating injury. It certainly is an extreme sport.

We so should get medals. Or at least wine/tea. Or perhaps exclusive access to the players?

We have to go out tonight. How acceptable would it be to turn up after play has finished for the day?!

Just caught glimpse of Stosur - she's wearing sun glasses, never seen that before.

Well, obviously I've seen people wearing sun glasses before, just not tennis players.

Talking of the sun glasses, did anyone see Dustin wearing a white rasta hat earlier?! I had been speculating whether he had one specially for Wimbledon, and lo and behold, there he was, modelling it beautifully.

They would never let us into the royal box - far too rowdy....

If they were getting uppity about mo farra taking a picture then we won't be allowed in the royal box! They would certainly frown upon us mningduring play!

The time I got to go (courtesy of my friend's dad, who works there), we had seats in the members bit , just behind the Royal box. There were no Royals- but Cliff Richard was there. Saw Lyndsey Davenport lose to Conchita Martinez. (was a long time ago)

Hey, I can be as lady-like as the rest of them occasionally.

Given that by this time last week, I'd had 3 large cocktails and the equivalent of half a bottle of champagne, I'm not even sure why I'm questioning the vodka!
