He's only 17! I'm glad he hasn't got one of those creepy old-style ventriloquist dolls, the sort that come alive in horror films. He and his doll and very cute. I would rather see him than all these singers.

So luvvie, if he had got through to the second round, his first round audition would have been shown wouldn't it? I presume up to that point they're all recorded. Apart from the second round selection, they must screen the embarrassing ones and one or two near misses to fill in with. Hope he tries again next year!

This young comedian is good but not great but the timing probs could be genuine nerves. (Unlike the previous contestant with the fake nerves.)

Fanny there is a producer first round they record for their own use - where you see all the masses of people waiting to audition, but those don't get screened. The second i.e. final round of auditions are the judges ones. He went straight to judges round.

I think he's fed up with them and won't go through it again. But it was very exciting to see him in the national press, and Whats On TV labelled him "one to watch". I have a very full scrapbook!

We are now backing Steve Hewlett, the vent who did get through.
