I don't think HS will have any problems in the future. She's a delightful, talented young woman and a million miles from the teary event. She's done a lot of pro work. I think there is enough there to make people forget.

My reference was poor really. A child having a meltdown is completely different to the fake tears, oh poor me, of a grown woman. I can't believe Simon has fallen for it, unless it is all engineered to get the sympathy vote, which these things usually are.

The cynical side of me thinks a lot of children acts going through this series after what Brucie said about it not being a show for them. The acts tonight were good though.

HS was the young girl who seemed to be very much the product of her mum's ambition. She broke down on stage and controversially was allowed another chance to perform.

Didn't realise she was still singing. I didn't rate her and I don't think if I saw her I would forget her dreadfully pushy mother and her meltdown.

Was she in the first series? I remember her but wasnt aware she still sung.

I never understood why she wore a ballet get-up when she was singing not dancing............

I was hoping gabs was going to do a different song, not the same one as her audition but just with others singing.

Alice has sunk her career I think. If she'd have been a gallant loser then Simon might have given her a recording contract or helped her further. She obviously can't take rejection of any kind.

Didn't The Lovable Rogues perform the same song in the semis and finals as they had at the auditions? Very disappointing that was.

Alice looked like she'd stood in puppy poo at the end and was sent home. She apparently refused to talk to Ant and Dec backstage (though I missed that because I was in the shower).
