Did you see the taster for tommorrow night. Tanya tells mum and dad that Amelia's problem is them.

Mog · 24/05/2006 21:22

And why wasn't Dad there tonight, missed yesterdays.

fuzzyfelt · 24/05/2006 21:27

Dad had to go off for the day on business.

I think that Tanya says that the problem is the Dad. She's been awful today while he was away.

Don't think Mum should have said - 'you really are a strange child'.

Rhubarb · 24/05/2006 21:28

I hate these shows. Just so everyone can gloat about how wonderful their own kids are and look how awful their brats are, aren't they bad parents? Aren't we just so glad that we are we and not them! Let's watch some other families nightmares for a bit of light entertainment, then we can all bitch about them afterwards, cast judgement, safe in the knowledge that we will never be like them!

Sorry, but I hate these shows!

AllieBongo · 24/05/2006 21:31

yeah, but you love me dontcha

Rhubarb · 24/05/2006 21:32

hello you lezzer weirdo freak!

AllieBongo · 24/05/2006 21:33

bonjour. what's occuring?

unicorn · 24/05/2006 21:34

ooh rhubarb, I am glad you are being true to self.
Nice to hear an opposite view.
Me - am in a total quandry over the whole thing.
Very watchable (and I def not smug parent - there for grace of god etc) but, but, but, but.

I want to know ultimately whose benefit is it all for - do they get help when they go home - why don't we see them afterwatds (we have had loads of families through the house now).. I am very 'wobbly' over HOTT.

Rhubarb · 24/05/2006 21:34

I'm getting het up by people relishing the judging of children and families they don't know. But then I'm forgetting that this is the whole point of reality tv, maybe that's why I hate it so much - not that I'd ever appear on anything like that you know! Wink

and dd has a vomiting bug. Whassup your end?

Rhubarb · 24/05/2006 21:36

unicorn, the benefit is for the tv people, to make lots and lots of money. Once they are home the support is dropped, these people don't give advice for free you know!

AllieBongo · 24/05/2006 21:36

at work, no telly. knackered, kids full of snot, work cut my hours just after we bought a more expensive pad, and now working all crapola hours. apart from that, life's peachy!

cod · 24/05/2006 21:37

unicorn · 24/05/2006 21:38

And Dr T aint done so bad. Yes she has lots of sensible advice.. but parenting is 'the new spectator sport'

(hmm an article beckons methinks??- watch out someone will nick it!)
