i think she (Amelia) thinks her mum doesn't love her.

She was annoying the hell out of me last night too. I think she is spoilt and always seems to get her own way.

I have been watching in bits as dh hates these kind of progs. Agree that in the bits I saw there was a lot of pandering to Amelia, but she didn't seem all that awful to me. Actually recognised in her aspects of my own four yr old ds's behaviour (over-reacts a lot and loses his temper) so am keen to see Tanya's diagnosis of the situation - why it happens and how to deal with it.

yep agree she's a little brat. and also agree re the food, all this "i'll give you this if you kiss the bread/lick the bread/put a crumb in your mouth" ... just give a plate of food, kid doesn't eat, kid goes hungry, big deal it isn't.

Having said that I can kinda understand why parents do get so stressed about eating as eating is a basic survival thing and it's hard to see your child not eating.

they can see that putting amelia in her room works so they shoud have done it loads more times tonight. kept saying if you do that one more time - for gods sake what your doing aint working - try something else.

aww poor jesse, my dd1 was bandaged for a while and it was awful. she was also a bit of a moo then as she wasnt sleeping well due to the eczema.

Why does Jesse have a nap if he doesn't sleep well at night - my two gave up their official naps well before the age of 2. Surely if he didn't sleep in the day he would go to sleep quicker at night? (or is that too obvious? :))

so why did tanya say the parents were the problem? what's the story?
