Tassi - Dr Tanya said it was the parents fault because each treats her so differently. The dad panders to her, never tells her off and according to Dr T, treats her like a 2 year old. She behaves like a 2 year old as that is the type of behaviour that gets her dad's attention.
The mum is strict sometimes, sometimes not, but6 gets angry with her and shows it. In my opinion, she is far too harsh when in strict mode. Also think she is too controlling and has met her match!

I was in floods of tears watching Amelia and her parents last night. My DD who is almost 4 can be a proper madam in similar vein at times, and I am far too lenient with her - she gets her own way a great deal. I need Dr Tanya Sad

I have a friend whose 4 year old is very similar to Amelia. The dad is incredibly soft with her and in fact "can't bear to hear her cry" and the mum tries to be firm with her but usually caves so you can literally see the little girl push it and push it to see how far she can go. It's awful to watch.
