I hope it's not a week of will the baby survive or not. Do we know he will be ok? Why would Tina want to keep Gary's baby though? It's natural she would be attached to him. But if Tina and Tommy get back together no way would Tommy want to keep Gary's baby either.

Apparently the pregnancy was too early to be detected when she went through the IVF.

The storyline would have to be that as p, if not, it would be awful to keep a baby that you had no genetic link to. It would be awful for the couple if you kept a baby that you had some genetic link to as well but more understandable

I'm dithering whether to make a complaint to itv about this storyline to be honest. I am sick of the numerous references to how 'unnatural' what Tina is doing is. I have donor-conceived ivf twins and would verbally floor anyone who told me my daring children were unnatural - I cannot imagine how I would feel if as a woman whose only option was to use a surrogate I turned on the tv and heard those sorts of opinions. The baby being Tommy's after all seems to confirm surrogacy isn't quite right. Well, lovely if you can actually HAVE your own babies. Disappointed in corrie, to tell you the truth. Normally much more sensitive.
