Yes Kungfu, she married Ted Sullivan, a rich sales rep, he died of a brain tumour or something and she inherited a lot from him.

That's right, Kungfu, I thought he had a bit of money. Rita has been loaded for ages - she used to help out Sally & Kevin a lot when they were newly-weds.

In scenes to be shown on Friday 12 July, Deirdre will tell Tracy that Ken has left to look after grandson Adam who is recovering after blacking out and collapsing at work.

Didn't Nick go off to Canada for years to live with Gail's brother? (Was it her brother?) He came back with a new head. Maybe Ken will do the same.

Adam is the son of Mike Baldwin and Ken's daughter Susan. Apparently last seen setting off to Portsmouth with Peter to open a betting shop. How he ended up in Canada is anyone's guess.

I thought the fraudster was also one of his RL sons (but obviously much younger than Linus).

Doesn't David play that part great though, he really would scare you. I'm really beginning to hate Anna, she has gone back to her old ways, screaming and shouting in the street, and she has no one to blame but herself for the way Faye is, I mean who on this earth would adopt a child and then let them go and live with a man they barely know. Ryan cheating on Katie, how predictable was that. I wonder when Beth will actually ask Craig what is wrong with him instead of referring about it to Kirk every five minutes

Well, just watched tonights episodes:

Anna/Owen/Tim - what a horrible bunch, feel sorry for Faye
David/Gail/Leanne/Nick etc - getting bored of this already, been done to death.
Chesney/Sinead/Katy/Ryan - couldn't care less.
Roy - don't like the way this is going at all
Emily/Norris/Rita/Dennis - the only glimmer of interest or amusement at the moment.

Ah, WhoKnows, you've made me think ... Hayley's sue to leave the show at the end of summer, isn't she? Maybe Roy's going to go increasingly off the rails, to the point where she quits (or has a nasty accident.) I'd prefer him not to go completely crazy. He does such a good job of being probably-AS in such a charming, but not dopey, manner. It'd be a shame to spoil that. We'll see, anyways ...

Anna was VU and Owen was absolutely vile. Being a bit leery's one thing, but that was acting like a professional thug :(

Agree about Emily, she's on fire at the moment! I still think I'd like the script to pit Mary & Sylvia against one another. It could be such fun.

I just feel that Roy has always been such a dignified character and this is reducing him to a joke, the way Tracey was talking to him the other night was appalling, even for her. I know people with AS (they've never said Roy has it but the signs are clearly there) are susceptible to mental health problems and maybe I am a bit over sensitive as my DS has AS, but I don't like seeing this happen to him and Hayley. I haven't got any better suggestions for writing out Hayley and leaving Roy on the street though, adultery seems unlikely on either side. Maybe they could have made Sylvia totally impossible for Hayley to live with and Roy unable to see it or something.

Yes, Anna returning to her old ways, I have often complained about the way characters get totally transformed in the street, so I suppose I should be OK with that, but I wish the whole of her family would just clear off, including sleazy Tim.
