I like Craig I think he'll do well with this storyline and it'll be good to introduce him properly. I also like how they've made him softer and quieter than his loud mouth mother!

I assumed Roy was sleepwalking or something due to suppressed grief over the whole Dad thing. But surely they can get hold of a CCTV camera and install it in the caff to find out what's going on. Or fit an internal bolt to the door to know for sure that no-one's coming in from outside?

If Craig is the key to all the Karl/Fire stuff, then Corrie has actually done quite well. Usually we would know that Craig knew right from the start, but this has been quite subtle do far.

Really hope they don't drag the Karl farce on till the wedding in sept.

I should imagine the reveal would be on the wedding day as having someone in a wedding dress seems to be a key feature of any reveal or drama. Plus it ensures a cover photo on Inside Soap.

Yawn. Liz Macdonald coming back again. I couldn't be less interested. Soaps rarely do real life - ie, relatives who do just pop up now and again to visit family. Actually, that's something the Aussie soaps did get right (or did do, haven't watched them for years) when some characters would pop up very occasionally for sometimes just a couple of episodes at a time (Rosemary Daniels in Neighbours for one example).

I don't like Liz much but reckon there could be conflict between her and Michelle, that would be a good fight!

I agree that if craig knows about the fire then it is a good twist and very subtle ,I originally thought it was Craig being the ghost at the cafe and hope he isn't as it too obvious

I am really getting annoyed by Debbie . Default shouting in every scene. There seems to be loads of 'filling' going on.

Mandy's back! I suppose Faye will be going to secondary school in September; Weatherfield Comp no doubt. Deirdre walking the dog on her own - no one seems to have noticed Ken's absence.

Why is there absolutely no mention of Ken's character.... I know Corrie is not always known for it's realism, but where the hell is his character supposed to be? (I know where the actor is btw ) Drearie is wandering around the Red Rec in the dark on her own and she is always alone now...

KenDodd, does Beth remind you of a real-life Debbie, by any chance?

I loved Roy's sleepwalk reveal "Eh up, it's one o' them zombies" and Drearie's offensive ramblings, which reminded me of myself in my more tactless moments

Very true Wingedharpy, after all these years we have finally seen the Red Rec, that's what Spider and Emily fought to save all those years ago , posh indeed, and what time was Roy supposed to be out, Sylvia and Hayley left the flat at about 6.00 and Roy was sleepwalking in the pitch dark a while later, eh it's summer and the pub was still open so it wouldn't have been dark.....arrrgghh no consistency at all, and if that sap Gary offers to buy Tina and Tommy one more bloody drink for giving them the baby then I will chuck something at the telly, "no seriously we can't thank you enough for all you have done" fuck the fuck off Gary, you are a creep of the highest order, and what was Tina thinking when she said to Izzy, "you've got a good one there", eh hello how short is your memory!!

I've just watched Friday's episodes on catch-up and was coming on to rant about the inconsistencies and Ellenora's said it already! What a rubbish couple of episodes!

I quite like Deirdre's new loud and tipsy-like persona though. Her and Liz will be a good double act.

I've only just heard they are getting rid of Brian. Daft. Bringing back long past their sell-by date characters and getting rid of some of the more decent new ones while others (like Hayley) are going. And we know Stephanie Cole has said she won't stay for ever. I saw Brian and Julie being the new Derek and Mavis.
