Do they def have CCTV in hosp rooms? I have no idea at all but just thought it would be in the corridors rather than intruding on patient's privacy.

Julie will have gone off to have her baby in RL, but yes another unexplained absence, particularly given Eileen has what passes for a storyline. Ordinarily she'd be all over Eileen just now.

Julie had to go to her mothers to look after her as she broke her hip ice skating.

All these stories just seem to be clunking along... It's like time has stood still with the Karl story. Nothing of interest has happened for weeks. It's like ground hog day.
The thought of the surrogacy story and then David/ Nick / Kylie going on and on for months.... Urgh. Had forgot that Leanne will be involved till someone mentioned her. Will have her self righteousness and bad wardrobe on top of the angst!

Gail has become a weird parody caricature of herself. She used to be a serious strong matriarchal character (ok albeit a bit silly about men) but now she's just an idiot.

People do change, Baking. Personally, I prefer Gail as she is now. Provides more amusement and that's what Corrie generally does best.
