I think Deidre will have to get a juicy storyline now. She's classy with her laugh that sounds like she's on 40 a day.

i think they will be bracing themselves to write Ken out so D might get a big story from that. she was funny finishing the wine at Eileen's but cannot really be doing with her and Tracy trauma.

I think Deirdre has a lot of potential to become as comic as Blanche and they should capitalise on that.

I think Ken will end up dying "offscreen". It's not just the sexual assault allegations, but all the gubbins he was coming out with in the press before that. He's a bit of a liability now.

Yes, Deirdre does need to turn into her mother. That was good casting, because they did look like mother and daughter.

Oh, just spotted on the BBC website that the actor who played Frank Foster has been cleared of the charges against him. I don't think the outcome will be the same for Kimono Ken!

Ken isn't in court until January, so they're going to have to come up with something!

What I can't understand is why people disappear or never get spoken about when they aren't on a current plotline.

I'm sure in times past (when god where a lad & the Rovers still had the Snug) folk used to be seen in the pub, passing in the street or were referred to in passing.

Obviously with Ken & Kev you can't have them wandering in the background I know but the others- Emily...etc

You can get away with a lot of " Oh you just missed Ken, he's gone to get a paper" but to just not even mention him is even more obvious surely?

Although as previously stated a nightmare for the scriptwriters, I can imagine the "Oh FFS!" comments at Corrie HQ today when Bill Roaches' trial was adjourned till January.

Gawd I can't bear any of the Windass/Armstrong lot. It's awful but I don't feel sorry for them at all but that is probably because we all suspect the baby is really Tommy and Tina's.

How long before they kick Tina out of the flat?
