Is going to be a difficult watch. The couple want the birth to be aired in order to raise awareness.

Those poor people, but they were so dignified. So so sad

Heart breaking beautiful Kaiden. What a lovely couple, also can't believe that a this wasn't something that could be 'fixed'

Sad

About 11 babies are still born in UK every day, and then there are those who live briefly but never make it home.

It may be harrowing to watch, but a brief life is just as precious as any other.

What an amazing couple to share their story of their beautiful baby boy.

Very sad to watch. What an incredible couple, they spoke beautifully of their experience and their beautiful baby kaiden. Tears in my eyes. Very brave mum and dad, my heart definitely went out to them.

I've just watched it, so Sad
And at the end where they were all in the room, the consultant explaining that their baby's lungs were too small to survive surgery....
I know they were painfully aware that the second half of the pregnancy was blighted by the knowledge of their boys hernia and I presume they knew it was life-limiting.
But the cry of the mum was heartbreaking.

There is no pain similar to hearing a consultant tell you they cannot save your child. Disbelief and despair.

That was so hard to watch but I have so much admiration for that couple. They are both strong and brave and that took lots of guts to show it. They are so positive and it must be so easy to be negative, and why me etc but they weren't.
Beautiful little boy.

That took me right back to our wonderful doctor having to tell us our daughter wasn't ever going to get better and we would have to turn her life support off. I wouldn't have been able to have that moment filmed let alone be selfless enough, brave enough and strong enough to broadcast it to help others. They are an amazing couple.

Like others, I'm so used to documentaries showing a happy ending. I'm aware that sometimes that doesn't happen, and I applaud OBEM for showing it, and admiration andsympathy to the amazing parents for sharing their story. Rest in peace Kaiden

So sad but really refreshing. I think there is real value in documenting a couple who have handled a heart breaking situation so well.
I really admire their bravery in the situation but also in sharing it on tv.

I wasn't sure I was going to watch this week (am in early stages of pregnancy) but I'm glad I did.

What a wonderful family, the way the dad spoke about his son was so moving and respectful. Yes it was very upsetting but as PP have said we can switch off now but the family can now feel that they may have helped other people in a similar position.

They were a great couple and so brave for doing this. Gives an insight into just how horrendous this experience must be for those who go thru it. It's something that doesn't get talked about but does need to.

So heartbreaking to see them being told their child wasn't being put forward for surgery because there was no hope of survival. They were such a brave couple to share their experience like that.

I have one issue with the way the show was put together and that was with the preview of next week's show, it felt pretty insensitive to show Kaiden's little handprints and then seconds later bimbo midwife screeching about pizza being delivered, I thought the show should have ended with Kaiden's tribute.

My friend's baby has this condition, she is in her second trimester. Hard to watch.

FeckOffCup I thought exactly the same, the ep should have finished with the memorial notice.

Such dignified parents, my heart goes out to them.

I've watched all the previous series of OBEM but haven't been able to this time around as I am pg; my last pregnancy was difficult and I suffer from massive anxiety issues as a result, I find most things to do with pregnancy and birth pretty difficult cope with.

However, I read about tonight's episode and the bravery of the parents really struck me, so I watched as it was what they wanted. It was a heartbreaking episode, but my 20 minutes of tears are nothing in comparison to what they have been through and will continue to go through. The way they spoke about their experience was truly amazing, they were so brave, coherent and strong, yet their emotions, the love for their son and their worries and the pain of their loss was so clear.

Kaiden was a beautiful boy, he has touched many people in his short life. Rest in peace, beautiful boy x

I agree feck I thought it was really insensitive to show the bit for next weeks show after the dedication to Kaiden especially the midwife shouting about pizza
