Just watching this and finding it a bit sexist. The wife/mother is the one having to justify the dirty house while her husband stands behind her. When she says she has 2 children, one at school and one at home, he asks her what she dos all day?..fucking idiot

I'm watching. All this clutter in Kay's house. Mind you Christie is so obsessed it's awful. Imagine going round there for a cuppa?

Aww the back story's so sad Sad

BMW6 · 20/03/2013 20:23

Come off it! Isn;t he at work daytime as engineer? She could do some cleaning in each room each day even with 2yo at home!!!
Somehow my Mum managed to clean whole house every day with 5 children (and no washing machine), & cook all the meals.
Not sexist. They both have jobs, but she;s not doing hers IMO

CuriousMama · 20/03/2013 20:25

I liked the excuse about the filthy hob. It's so hot when she's finished using it she can't clean it Grin I'm not a domestic goddess by any stretch but I couldn't cook on that

Guntie · 20/03/2013 20:25

I would have thought she would have been able to do some cleaning during the day...

CuriousMama · 20/03/2013 20:26

He's crazy. What if she had asthma?

BMW6 · 20/03/2013 20:28

Asthma!!! With her house dust and filth I would think chemicals would be the least of her respitatory problems (and her DC's....)

Guntie · 20/03/2013 20:29

There are so many natural cleaning products on e market or that you can make at home.. Personally I avoid strong chemical cleaners but still clean.

Why would you put trash in the sink?

recall · 20/03/2013 20:30

I don't see how all the cleaning is her responsibility?surely its a shared job

OP posts:
recall · 20/03/2013 20:31

I agree its rank, but cross that she seems get the blame, not them

Usually the people on this do seem to have issues, this woman's issue appears to be a bad case of bone idleness. She is not a hoarder she is just lazy, using the excuse of I would rather play with my children than clean, funny how most of us manage to do both.

Guntie · 20/03/2013 20:33

I agree. The true hoarders really need psychological help. This woman just seems lazy.

recall · 20/03/2013 20:34

why she ???????????

There are 4 people living in the house, two of which are adults, yet one gets blamed for the state of the house??doesn't her husband have any arms?

OP posts:
recall · 20/03/2013 20:35

guntie does her husband seem lazy too ?

OP posts:
CuriousMama · 20/03/2013 20:35

She's bone idle. Yes he could help a bit too but she could do more than she is.

I have a dust allergy which I don't notice in dusty places but it's when it's moved around. I just use a damp cloth at home. It was the mixture of the chemicals that's worrying, can be very dangerous.

People who damage graveyards are scum of the highest order.

BMW6 · 20/03/2013 20:37

Recall - he works during the day. That's his job. Her job is SAHM. It is surely mainly her job. She is therefore mainly to blame.
Not sexist. The roles could be reversed and I would say the same - would you?

recall · 20/03/2013 20:37

curiousmama Her husband could help a bit too ?????????? shouldn't he do 50% ?????????

OP posts:
nancy75 · 20/03/2013 20:37

She stays at home, he goes to work. Generally the person that doesnt go out of the house to work is the one that looks after the house. If he were the stay at home partner I would call him bone idle.

CuriousMama · 20/03/2013 20:38

50% no of course not. Does your dp do 50%? She's just full of excuses. Blaming the dcs now.

nancy75 · 20/03/2013 20:39

Why should he do 50%, does she do 50% of his job?

BMW6 · 20/03/2013 20:39

Boak - bread behind the sofa......too hard to pull the sofa out ??Angry she looks hefty enough to move it....

recall · 20/03/2013 20:39

The eternal unpaid employee??..

she has her hands full with two kids to look after, admittedly she is lazy, but no more lazy than her husband IMO

Urg she's blaming everyone but herself!

Recall, sorry I just feel like house management and keeping the place safe for children is more her responsibility as she is the SAHP. Her DH should help her if she needs it. I sometime ask my DH to do specific things when he comes home if I'm not up to it/can't do it.

BMW6 · 20/03/2013 20:41

Perhaps now she has dropped the defensive shit she will get on with it

CuriousMama · 20/03/2013 20:41

She's fucked off now leaving him to it. Oh she's back.
