Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

Peter can switch on the gorgeous. Sometimes he just looks ok and others he's extremely hot. I notice they have decorated the bookies flat too.

On a slight tangent after tonight's shows, I'm guessing that Fizz is about to move out and leave Chesney with enough room to put up Kirk and whatsername with her son (they are still at maria's aren't they?) thus solving the problem of how he affords to pay the rent/bills etc. and deal with his loneliness now he and Katy are no more.

Ken was very forgetful last night...pie burning, no anniversary card...is this the beginning of dementia?

His acting of being forgetful was atrocious - a child in a school play would do better!

What is going on with all the terrible writing in corrie at the moment? It's almost unwatchable. Sunita was on tv yesterday and revealed that Karl will confess soon but no one will believe him. Like WTAF right?

Beth and whats-his-name Rat Boy moved out of Maria's and into the flat whee Lewis was living - Kirk was wearing one of his suits or coats or something

Yes, forgetting the card twice you could tell it's a set up for Ken to start having memory problems. Awful scenes with the Barlows - Ken hamming it up, Deirdre drunk and fawning all over Rob, Peter being his usual peevish self (how anyone can find him attractive - yuk!) and I don't know if Deirdre was told to ad-lib but saying to Carla she liked her top and then offering the info that she was back on the fags seemed a bit weird and pointless.

Aaargh! Why did Karl get away with being so rude to Gloria? Without her he wouldn't have any where to stay. I wonder if it's part of the build up to confessing?

Paul and Eileen - please don't split up! I wonder if the way he jumped on her to kiss her was meant to be so sudden. It startled me because he's, well, a sort of sluggish person and this was a bit out of character!

And Tim moving into the street and becoming a regular?

Re Tim: can someone tell me how he has so much access to a daughter that was given up for adoption, that really confuses me, also why does Faye look about 14 and hold Annas' hand everywhere they go, I know she is supposed to be ten or eleven, but surely the writers know how silly it looks.

I thought that aswell about Kirk and Beth and her son moving in with Tyrone, I do like her but she does remind me a little bit of Cilla.

I hope Carl loses the plot soon, I think I will have to skip a few weeks of it otherwise, I mean how long can they draw it out for.

Good thinking on the Ken and dementia storyline by the way, would be one way to get rid of him, I think he's overstayed his welcome at this stage.

I don't think Tim knew Faye had been put up or adoption did he? I think the mum was an addict and had done a runner with Faye so he lost touch, then the mum died. It's annoying though as, when Anna protested about him being around too much, SS implied the adoption could be breaking down.

They'll have to bring someone in for Dev to get his swerve on with. He has gone through a fair few ladies. (Ugh even Tracy and Deirdre) Unless Gail or Sally let him in for the ride.

Ugh that fireman. He makes me want to slap him and keep slapping until his smug snarled face is smashed to smithereens. Why they put lovely funny Eileen with this idiot is beyond me. He has no redeeming features.

If Deirdre gets it on with Rob I will actually throw up.
They should bring Jai back from Emmerdale to run the corner shop again and then get rid of Dev. He's actually made a nice few quid selling sweets in Emmerdale so he could well aford to buy the shop.
