Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

OP posts:

has baby Ruby changed. she looked totally different tonight.

Is Izzy meant to be part Klingon then?

whatkungfuthat · 05/04/2013 22:22

It's that Botox forehead. The woman who does the soaps on This Morning has the same thing, when it starts wearing off it looks all lumpy.

JulieCarp · 05/04/2013 22:53

Hahaha at klingon !
OMG so wanted Jason to punch Karl - am having terrible lustful thoughts about Jason Blush he is soooo earnest - help me Wink

ClartyCarol · 05/04/2013 23:36

Now now Julie, you've been there before remember...then it turned out he's actually your nephew Wink.

I noticed Izzy and her botox a while ago, most odd. Def think something is brewing between Gary and Tina but seriously - who in their right mind would pick Gary over Tommy?

whatkungfuthat · 05/04/2013 23:54

Why on earth didn't Tina call Tommy to stay with her? I will get the rage if something actually happens between her and scary Gary

BreconBeBuggered · 06/04/2013 01:23

Izzy should keep that woolly bear hat thing of hers over her forehead at all times. Save money on Botox and avoid the lumpy aftermath.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/04/2013 07:35

Oh god, hope I don't get lumpy aftermath. I'm off to buy a bear hat .....,..

Icedcakeandflower · 06/04/2013 08:07

I'm confused - did I miss an episode? I saw Karl creeping into Sunita's room and she opened her yes.

Then last night I heard Sunita was dead. No discovery, no shock, no Norris spreading the latest news.

Chippychop · 06/04/2013 10:52

For once Jason got it right. Pleas elet him have a happy endingSmile

whatkungfuthat · 06/04/2013 12:24

KenDodd a fringe may be the way forward Grin

Numberlock · 06/04/2013 14:29

Iced Karl dislodged Sunita's breathing tube when he found out she was coming round so that's how she died.

Icedcakeandflower · 06/04/2013 14:45

Aha, thanks number lock. Wonder how I missed that

Numberlock · 06/04/2013 15:07

We're didn't actually see him do it, just saw him come out of the hospital room looking shifty, then the alarms went off and they tried to revive her.

Sleepyfergus · 06/04/2013 15:20

The thought of Gary sleeping on my sofa would unnerve me. Poor Tina, he gives me the creeps.

ssd · 06/04/2013 15:34

Sylvia is ace

this is how I see it going now

  1. Gary and Tina get together and decide to stay together with the baby, Izzy leaves altogether
  1. Stella gets the blame for starting the fire for insurance purposes and Karl is upset at her getting accused but still tries to save his own skin and Stella nearly goes down for a crime she didn't commit...Karl comes a cropper in the end
  1. Devs crying gets on everyone' nerves, here anyway.
  1. ssd decides she needs to get out more
NuzzleandScratch · 06/04/2013 18:13

Love how they avoided Dev having to 'act' telling the children! Rain on the window was enough!

Also, did anyone notice the weird camera angles when Jason & Stella were talking in the ginnel?! It was like they were looking directly into the camera, most unnerving!

JulieCarp · 06/04/2013 18:24

The rain on the window was genius I howled ... with laughter Blush
Am impressed with Michelle Collins -Stella she looks utterly crushed by what has happened and very vulnerable.

Clawdy · 06/04/2013 18:49

Don't see why Izzy could leave Tina and Tommy with the baby,it's biologically her child.

Slainte · 06/04/2013 20:37

I'm sure someone mentioned this already upthread .... Tina seems to have forgotten that Gary and his family's antics are the reason why her Dad started on the road to bankruptcy and depression. So why would she ever have an affair with him?

Viviennemary · 06/04/2013 21:23

I know I shouldn't take this too seriously. Grin. But wouldn't Tina be entitled to keep the baby under UK law as it stands.

LeeCoakley · 06/04/2013 21:47

Have just found out that Karl confesses some or all of his actions to Stella. That means that the two major crime stories we've had have both victims only being vindicated by the perps confessing. Where's the justice in that??

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/04/2013 22:13

Who in the hell is writing this stuff ?

candodad · 06/04/2013 22:22

Lee - I read he confesses but Stella doesnt believe him and thinks its survivour guilt!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 06/04/2013 23:23

Under current UK laws, yes, Tina is viewed as the biological mother (even though she isn't) and she can still choose not to hand over the baby. If she does hand it over, Gary and Izzy will have to adopt the baby before it's legally theirs.

But I have noticed that the law works differently on Corrie. Wink

KenDoddsDadsDog · 07/04/2013 07:59

Right. I have to discuss the Corrie real life wedding.
Thought Helen Worth's dress was fabulous . Poor Audrey Horseface looked absolutely amazing.
Leanne Battersby looked terrible as did Stella.
