Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

X post Lee. But to answer your question, Sunita had been in the Bistro and was drunk (in about 5 mins) and she flung a drink at Stella. Stella couldn't really be arsed being there, what with Carl in the show too, so went off home for a bath.

LeeCoakley · 18/03/2013 21:57

Oh I see. Thanks. And agree about the doc - more please!

PuffPants · 19/03/2013 00:09

I was shouting "get a ladder!". Why were they all standing down there watching when all that was needed was a ladder?

And why didn't Stella open the bloody window???

Oh, and did Carl let himself back in with keys? Won't he have to explain how he had keys to the pub in his pocket?

Sleepyfergus · 19/03/2013 00:53

I think he locked the door with the keys, then bashed it in ? To look like he busted in a locked door otherwise it would look suss? But he'd have to dump the keys somewhere. Unless he still has them and that comes out later.

Anyone else already excited about the refurb opportunities?

Have just had a bit of a 'steamy dream' involving the doc. Am annoyed that dd2 just woke me from it for a feed!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/03/2013 07:52

I'm waiting for Dev's massive over acting now when Sunita is rescued. Sunitaaaaaaa.

RobinSparkles · 19/03/2013 08:04

I've said this before and I'll say it again but:

The doctor reminds me of a younger, thinner Michael McIntyre! Why isn't he in it more often? He's not in it that much.

RobinSparkles · 19/03/2013 08:05

I wished someone would push Dev into the Rovers.

LeeCoakley · 19/03/2013 08:13

I've just read Digitial Spy spoilers and if one of the comments at the bottom is true then I despair of the writers. In short, two people kissing at someone's funeral. Angry

Apparently there is no Corrie on Friday but on Sunday instead. And Kirsty 'shows her true colours' next week. So that bit will be good.

whatkungfuthat · 19/03/2013 08:22

Lee its true, I've seen the DM spoiler pic!

gregssausageroll · 19/03/2013 08:50

Yes, I have read about Kirsty too.

Was disappointed last night. I thought the special effects were good but things like no one going to get a ladder, Karl's acting when he ran into the rovers, Stella hitting the window with a lamp shade (why didn't she just open it) etc made it disappointing n

Sleepyfergus · 19/03/2013 09:03

Robin - my dream is ruined!!!

RobinSparkles · 19/03/2013 09:35

She tried to open the window but it was jammed, although why she struggled to smash a single glazed window is beyond me! Surely the adrenalin would have given her super strength? Or maybe she was weak from the smoke fumes.

(Yes I am aware that it isn't real!)

PaintedBottom · 19/03/2013 22:56

Loved last night! Not so sure about the fake looking fire in the cellar soon after Carl lit it (when he was talking to Sunita)....Carl barely flinched when it was inches away from his head Hmm

Reallly looking forward to Kirsty's outburst next week! At last Julie will see what she's like! Grin

And, no Stella, you cannot smash a window with a bloody fabric lampshade......

MortifiedAdams · 19/03/2013 23:02

I thought the bit where Stella was banging the window and everyone stood.on the syreet watching was awful - people wouldnt / couldnt jist stand and watch someone potentially burn to death in from.of their eyes.

Bakingnovice · 19/03/2013 23:03

Toni looks v familiar. Has she been in corrie before? Can we have fuzz and ty in the fire please. And Mandy, Jenna, Paul, Sophie, Ryan, Owen, faye, tim, Anna, Stella, Gloria, Leanne, nick....

MoodyDidIt · 20/03/2013 09:21

and and and....has anyone said this...why would kirsty still be living in tyrone;s house, when a)they never got married, and b)he is not even the registered dad of her baby? and who is paying the mortgage / rent as ty's in t'nick?

i need answers!!

whatkungfuthat · 20/03/2013 09:35

Moody I need those answers too! They could have made Kevin rush into the pub off camera and have him in intensive care, swaddled in bandages so you can't see his face. Then, depending the outcome of the actor's trial, kill him off or revive him as appropriate.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 20/03/2013 19:37

Toni was in Emmerdale !
Will it be her who goes ?

whatkungfuthat · 20/03/2013 19:37

Looks like it. Tina saw Kirsty too, that will come out later!

Chippychop · 20/03/2013 19:57

I thought that was a good piece of acting from Sue Johnson so much more natural than her normal charecter

PaintedBottom · 20/03/2013 19:59

Bloody Dev....... why the jeff is he still in Corrie.....he's terrible Hmm

PaintedBottom · 20/03/2013 20:00

Agreed Chippy

Lighthousekeeping · 20/03/2013 21:08

How many times was it on tonight? My planners only picked up one.

Purpleknickers · 20/03/2013 21:22

Once unless my planner missed an episode too

whatkungfuthat · 20/03/2013 22:08

As far as I can tell it was only once
