Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

If I look half as good as Stella at 50 I'd be dead chuffed with myself. :o

MoYerBoat · 10/03/2013 09:38

Baking -Stella looks like a 50 year old woman in HD. Good on the actress for not succumbing to Botox and fillers. I agree she is very attractive.

Bakingnovice · 10/03/2013 12:55

Yes she does look ok I suppose. But she did have fillers and Botox when she started. I think she's not topped up though. I think she'd look better with less bleached hair and less severe makeup.

I wish Stella would not wear such 'desperate' clthes, viz the low cut tight shift dresses, I am her age, love and have clothes like that, but it has made me re-think my wardrobe, not to go all frumpsville, but to tone down the tightness a bit...

Ach go and get your hand round your tiny little peanut dick. Of course it's real.

LeeCoakley · 10/03/2013 19:00

Of course it's real! Durrr! I've been to Coronation Street. I'VE met Jack Duckworth's pigeons so there!

whatkungfuthat · 10/03/2013 19:27

If its not real then why have you only commented on Corrie-related threads?

Lighthousekeeping · 10/03/2013 19:46

Personally, I don't think it's right to slag off the looks of the actors when they are only wearing what they are being directed to wear. That includes fake tan.

ProfYaffle · 10/03/2013 19:48

Corrie's not real?! Shock Why did no-one explain this to me before? Does this mean that Meerkats don't organise themselves into mariachi bands either? Confused

MrsSalvoMontalbano · 11/03/2013 12:31

Prof Grin

Sleepyfergus · 11/03/2013 19:12

I've missed this thread, been away a week on hols and only caught up on episodes today. Didn't want to read thread in case it gave summit away!

Anyway, was drying my hair so had subtitles on at one stage (v desperate emoticon) and in one episode, Jason was in the pub taking a sip of his pint, and acknowledged Kev ("alright Kev") but obv Kev not there. It's as if they are trying to tread water until they can properly get a story together as to why he wasn't there. If I hadn't read it on the screen, I would have missed it.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/03/2013 20:56

Ah ! Ches!

Lighthousekeeping · 11/03/2013 21:41

Poor ches. god, it was all going so right for him.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/03/2013 22:11

Ryan gives me the vapours (and not in a good way)
I still wonder why they tried to replace Original Ryan with New Ryan who is so different , and totally unpleasant to boot.

whatkungfuthat · 12/03/2013 12:56

New Ryan looks like a mini-Barrowman and always seems a bit clammy.

Bakingnovice · 12/03/2013 16:28

Oh yes I saw the 'hello Kevin' bit sans Kevin. Awkward.

OP posts:
Sleepyfergus · 12/03/2013 17:53

Anyone else a bit annoyed that Katy is snogging Ryan with very little remorse? I thought she was the wringing hands type, but no she's full on. That said, how sleezy is Ryan with his immediate suggestion of a bunk up in a hotel that night. Wham, bam, thank you mam type. At least she had the sense to say no to that!

She is utterly gorgeous though. Lovely skin tone

Lighthousekeeping · 13/03/2013 19:59

That poor Chesney Sad

What's with the resident lesbians? Are they on with each other or not? I can't stand them together. I fast forward. They could have done so much more with Sophie. It's the oddest pairing.

whatkungfuthat · 13/03/2013 20:17

They don't go together at all do they? Like Lloyd and the mum.

MrsSalvoMontalbano · 14/03/2013 21:47

Yes, poor Chesney. Neglected by his mum, then his dog died, and now this Sad

whatkungfuthat · 14/03/2013 22:13

I'd forgotten about the dog

MurielTheActor · 15/03/2013 15:31

Er, let's not forget kungfu that in between those two events he got with the prettiest girl on the street - she is so ridiculously pretty Envy - and had a baby...

whatkungfuthat · 15/03/2013 16:08

Fair comment, he is punching way above his weight looks-wise but mini-Barrowman is just so smarmy and clammy

SarahJ783 · 15/03/2013 16:29

I hate it when soaps start off with a good story line but then drag it out for months and months. I remember when the whole Ty and Kirsty thing started and I couldn't wait to watch Corrie to see what happened next but now I find myself going to make myself a brew when either of them come on screen as its got boring.
