The Walking Dead SPOILER THREAD- Darryl's back. Again. But earlier this time.

OK I haven't watched it yet but will do tonight so let's start on all the spoiler-y comments!

I have a feeling Darryl will end up killing Merle.

I think they're setting up a Daryl/Meryl showdown too. The ambiguity of the Daryl/Meryl fight scene in Woodbury was interesting - I got the impression Meryl would've been willing to kill Daryl to save his own skin had the rescuers not shown up.

Beth kissing Rick on the cheek was interesting, especially as she's basically raising his well possibly baby.

I think Daryl will back too. Sibling loyalty, and guilt at Merle being left on the roof is only going to last so long, sooner or later he's going to realise Merle is an arsehole. And probably kill him.

I'm wondering what's going to happen to Michonne. Hershel seems to want to keep her around - I hope she does stay, she's an interesting character.

I think they need Michonne. With Daryl playing happy families with Merle, they're a badass down and Michonne may not bring a lot to the group dynamic but she fulfils the badass criteria admirably.

I really felt sorry for carol........she had such a lovely relationship with Daryl.

I can't bare Merle and really hope he isn't it in for much longer.

I nearly cried when carol realised darryl hadn't returned - that's as good as dead in their world. But he's got his crossbow back so I'm sure he'll be fine and he clearly has to kill merle.

Yy to the governor just shooting that poor guy in the head when all Andrea could do was blub! I rather enjoyed this episode. And only two days to the next!

I just got round to watching it.
Glenn is a bit psycho because of Maggie. He (like most partners of victimised women) is having trouble becuase of his failure to be a hero.
He couldnt keep her safe. Never mind that Maggie is fairly kick ass herself.
I think they will have a difficult relationship now, until Maggie gets to beat the crap out of the guvnor. (unspoiled)

Tyrese will have to stay around for a bit. Hes v good in the comics/books.
I did have a snigger though when the two blokes were all "its only and woman and a child"
Yeah. But a psycho child with no qualms about blowing your heads off and a woman who will blow you head off to protect what is left of her family.

I think Darryl will be back. I expect that Meryl will finally get on his last nerve and he will either get him with the crossbow, or a walker will get him and Daryl will have to bow his head off.

Yeah I was underwhelmed too.
Rick being mad is a bit boring.
Daryl being missing is sad.
Andrea is behaving totally unbelievably.

I like Tyrese though. And I hope Michonne stays.

I've just watched this week's episode as well. Much better than last week.

It was, one particular scene made me jump though. I was totally not expecting it .
Really enjoyed it, last week had a series 2 drag about it but back on track now

Bored with the crazy Rick now. Hope the Guvnors little visit is enough to snap him back to reality although I think not judging by Carl's comments in the preview of episode 11.

And wasn't Lori looking good. Getting butchered, shot in the head and then devoured by a walker really agrees with her

Just watched this week's episode - let out a little cheer when Daryl said he was going back. Saying that, I know this isn't going to be popular, but I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Merle. I know he's a horrible, murderous bastard, but the back story suggests there is a reason he turned out that way. Although, I suppose Daryl didn't ...

And how evil is the Governor? Really hoping Andrea comes to her senses, pokes his other eye out and takes control of the town.

When is back on tele? Does anyone know?

It's ok I've just found it! Phew so glad I haven't missed it.

What I want to know is how nobody shot the bloody guv'nor. He was just stood there in full view and not one bloody bugger managed to get anywhere near him!
Generally their aim is pretty shocking, perhaps they are too used to close combat?

I've got some questions?
Who was the masked assailant who drove the truck full of walkers in and ran off? Possibly female (guessing looking at their physique)??
Surely Glenn and the Governor's paths would have crossed before they reached the prison?
I wish Glenn would stop being all revenge-y and get back to normal, though now Merle has reappeared he might want to kill him.
What happened to the 4 who were taken in by Carl? Have they gone their own way now as Rick said they couldn't stay while having "a moment" in the last episode or are they still locked up?
Glad Daryl is back! But poor Axel - just when he was getting on with Carol too.
