Is Ireland still showing Neighbours one episode ahead of the UK?

We were before the break, for some unfathomable reason.

So today (Thursday's) episode for you lot was Paul getting emotional after looking at photos of Andrew as a child, and Rani realising what the earrings meant?

That was Wednesdays episode in Ireland

Yes that was today's episode. How strange. I thought they had to be shown on the right day to ensure the 'last week on' / 'next week on' where shown on the right day.

RTE (the Irish national broadcaster) would not care about that. We get "this week on" at very random times and the most dramatic finale of the week is on a Thursday.

They are renowned for running over their own timetable, moving program times around in a seemingly random manner and starting programs a few minutes early or late which plays havoc with "series link."

There was much fury when people who were recording it, missed the end of the Homeland finale

I shall have to continue discussing yesterdays episode on here to avoid spoilers so.

But the cost is watching Priya looking all pathetic.

The whole thing is pathetic...their 'affair' was possibly the least sexy thing I have watched since Paul was shagging Lynn Scully

Priya is horrendous. She is so sappy.
But Ajay is becoming a much more interesting character, now that he isnt simpering and grinning all the time.

You've got to love a soap birth. Vanessa went from waters breaking to agonising contractions before she'd even got out of the shop! At least Sonya's is looking a tad more realistic...

The gorgeous Mark Brennan is supposed to be back this year for a bit, the thought of him fawning over Kate again makes me want to hurl! What do they all see in her The script writers must be deluded or i am missing seeing her hidden beauty.

I loved Lucas in Heartbreak High so Rhys can sod off and leave vanessa alone

To comment on a few posts-

Ajay is annoying but Priya is beyond annoying. Why so much purple eyeshadow?

What on earth kind of gig were they playing, I know I was Christmas but it was entirely a bizarre set up!

I really hope Lucas gets the girl. He is so sweet yet manly (but I don't fancy him at all, Rhys is much more better looking and I'll never forget the day he was topless and then wore a Nirvana tshirt all in 1 episode)

I don't understand the Kate love, I've not liked that whole family since they joined but Kate is the worst especially her ridiculous extensions

I watch at 7pm so haven't seen today's yet.

Yes, he was supposed to have gone into a new identity programme to hide from the baddies but they found him anyway and killed him...so Kate was told

It allowed her demonstrate some truly awful great acting and snog that kid in her class by the mural..

He's definitely back for an appearance and so is the one who played Sarah, the girl who had an affair with Karl many years ago in the 90's. I'm way too young to remember that of course
