  • sit on the lap of the character of your choice. (I think you'll find Kevins is already taken). Grin
  • get a home visit. (Almost guaranteed whatever your ailment)
  • have Jimmi, Heston or practically anyone else provide free detective work.

...or you could just wait around to be screamed at by Gobby.

How can you resist? Grin

To explain to any newbies , this is a very friendly thread that welcomes any fans of the afternoon soap called 'Doctors'.

I'll post the list of commonly used acronyms in a minute but they aren't compulsory, honest!

Exactly, the DCs room needs a new carpet but their bunkbeds would have to be dismantled to get them out of the room and I can't lift anything heavy any more since having surgery last year, we only got the bunks last year, it was so silly not to get the carpet done first.

MsNobodyAgain · 05/01/2013 20:26

I have 2 'car beds' for the DSs which are great, but you try to move one Shock. OMG, they weigh a ton! I'll have to put up with the laminate flooring but they don't half make a noise on it now they are older. It's like a herd of elephants up the stairs when they all get going Grin

oh blimey- beds are my nemesis. I'm determined to get it right with dd2. she will never grow out of the cotbed Grin

Few years ago, got ds a metal high-sleeper bed. Desk and shelves underneath, great. Only I hadn't factored in ds not being dry at night (still isn't at 10Sad, but going through treatment.) Now, I'm very short, but i am not small - changing the sheets on the bloody thing used to give me concussionGrin

DD1- a lovely wooden mid sleeper bed with a pull out desk and shelves- her room is tiny, perfect for all her stuff- miscalculated size of bed/length of wall by 1 inch and now the bloody thing dwarfs the room as it will not go in the spot I wanted it to.

grrr

Raahh · 07/01/2013 13:46

I have decided to start potty training dd2. She is 2yrs 3 months- and kind of gets the idea. But the lazy part of me really doesn't want to do it. And when ds/dd1 were going through it, they were at a nursery- others being trained at the same time.

Anyway- I recognise this Irish bloke...
