Just starting a new thread before tonight's elimination, as I'm sure we'll all have something to say about that.

agree about Girls Aloud and Kylie. Dd was quite bemused by the men in corsets and said the looked weird. She asked me why they were wearing them and I had no idea what to tell her

I couldnt take my eyes off them and not in a good way it just looked odd the corset and shirt and the legs was not a great combo the right people went didn't they although it should have been victoria and Richard in the bottom 2 even if Nicky westlife gets on my wick

I want Nicky to go next. I think Nicky, Victoria and Micheal are all not great but I think I'm on my own in liking VP. I'd keep her over Nicky for that reason alone.

I like Victoria she is just a bit reserved and is doing razzle dazzle dances to cover up she isnt that great but I do like her

Yes I like Victoria as well she comes across as quite sweet and always looks great (not sure about the relevance to the dance of the E.T. flying bike though !) More to duo with the producers trying to throw everything possible at the audience at Wembley; they don't seem to have heard the saying "LESS IS MORE"!!!!!

Was v.disappointed with the Wembley show, had high hopes for Louis and Flavia's american smooth and although the dance itself was technically good the music, cosumes and horrid floor illumination things were awful.
Disappointed with the "entertainment" too - Girls Aloud were mediocre (although Nadine looked lovely and it was nice to see Sarah looking so well).

Why, why, why did Kylie do the locomotion and yet not actually "do" the locomotion??? When they announced it I thought "odd, but maybe they'll all be doing the dance round the floor and get the crowd going, might be a bit kitsch but fun" But sadly not. C'mon Kylie, remember this

Victoria isn't really improving. I think it would be fair if she left next week. Nicky is also vulnerable, although he is showing more signs of improvement than she is.

DVO will be the classic judges' pet contestant who gets to the last three and is voted off, like Zoe Ball and Rachel Stevens before her. She is being very disingenous about her dance experience, and her repartee with James isn't coming across as well as it used to in her past TV work with others.

Her charleston was over-marked this week, and that can often mean the voting knives come out.

I thought the charleston was over-marked too. But I thought that perhaps it was the Wembly effect and it would have looked better in a smaller area. I'm sure it was very proficient, but it just seemed a bit joyless and not exuberant enough. It looked like they were working hard, but shouldn't it have looked like they were having fun?

I think several of the dances looked weird in that huge space, Louis and Flavia's really suffered through having to travel so much in a circle.

I've learned the partner and solo charleston, and what DVO and James did was a showdance with a few charleston bits. The whole point of the charleston and its close cousins is that it should be performable in a small space, to very fast music.

Oj Kylie has a new album out an abbey road album and she has reworked all her old songs that is why we were not locomoting (not a word)

I thought the Kylie performance was rather weird, a bit pretentious and not quite suitable for early evening, tbh.

Great Charleston video! And I disagree with Len (I think it was) who said it was the best ever stricly charleston, my favourite is still Chris and Ola's (especially the swimming bit!) . Just brilliant fun to watch, they were a great couple

Thing that annoys me about DVO is the whole 'I'm finding this so hard this week, it all went wrong in rehearsal' bollocks. She's brilliant and everyone knows it. For me this makes everything else she does Seem a bit fake and forced. and I've never been keen on James either.

That video was great, they danced with gusto and enthusiasm and they were clearly enjoying themselves. DVO and James were being careful and concentrating hard and their smiles were very stagey. There was no abandon.

Should have saId, she needs to have a disastrous week and get herself into the dance off.

And as some o.p.'s have said the voting was far too generous.
