Just starting a new thread before tonight's elimination, as I'm sure we'll all have something to say about that.

Louis and Flavia's fusion dance misic is" U2 With or Without You", but can't get it on you tube as available only to US viewers. Anyone got a link for UK ?

I will be muting the TV during Louis and Flavia's dance. With or Without You is one of my favourite songs. Ever.

Also don't want any distractions from Louis dancing a rumba

I might mute it because I think it's a dreadful song, cannot imagine that it will be good to dance to.

Surely that song is too slow for a tango, not that I know much about it.

I supposed they might be doing a latin style cover version? I agree seems a funny choice, not likely to get the crowd going but Flavia is pretty canny about these things usually.

Darcey was on chris evans just now and she (sort of) agrees with me about Danni !!!! She reckons the finalists will be Lisa, Louis and Danni poss. DVO who SHE didn't seem to reckon either!!!!! We are vindicated other DVO dislikers

Ppeatfruit, that's a task for this weekend, to see if I can change them, or at least return them.

I'm not sure if DVO will really fall off the top 3. I think people might not vote for her when she's at the top, as they figure she's safe. But if it's a matter of her staying in or not, more fans of hers might come out and vote. We shall see.

DVO is doing the Jive/Quickstep, to Reet Petite - a fast tempo and exhausting Fusion.

I LOVE Reet Petite! And that's a killer combo, jive/quickstep. I bet Len will blow his top - he went mad for their Little Richard jive. I'm not a fan of DVO on principle - think she is just too pro for the competition (although after last week that theory is a bit dented) but I'm really looking forward to seeing that fusion.

Frankin Exactly my thoughts, will probably bring the house down if their energy levels don't drop and they do an amazing job. And they have put in the most hours of training during the whole series according to Russell's Stats.

Good luck to them both, I say. Jive isn't the easiest for long legs at that speed. Perhaps it will be slowed down for them. What a wow the original song was. Don't think the SCD orchestra and singers will match it, do you?

Oh Gawd digerd - I forgot it would be the house band! That's taken the edge of my anticipation. Bless 'em, they do a good job but the more adventurous the pro's get with music choices the more it's taxing them. DS was fuming about the cover of Skyfall last week (but I was laughing 'cos I'm sick to death of being force-fed Adele )

Oh well, it's going to be a cracking dance anyway. Unless it all goes a bit wrong again...

Missed most of ITT tonight, and just caught the last 5 mins with DVO and James in training - he looked absolutely knackered and out of breath. They demonstrated a bit of it, to a DVD music, but don't think they put much into it - don't blame them, and didn't wow me at all.

A lot of the pros seem a bit crocked don't they? Maybe you're right - the fusion is a bit too exhausting for them.

At least Louis and Flavia's is a slow fusion dance. But needs loads of expression - hope Louis gives it to us. Sensual Rumba with sensual Argentine tango - feast for us ladies eyes if done well. Wonder what he is weraring?
