So what do we all make of Marcus and Maria now? Think people are being a tad unfair on them. Even Kirk!!!

Loved Steve locking rob in the van.

Looking forward to seeing where the Tina pregnancy thread will go - hope Tommy comes to terms with it all. Loved the happy faces of Izzy and Gary.

Sorry just realised that was a very annoying post Grin

Without giving anything away, what I meant is that the new storyline involves that annoying guy who plays Michelle's son. More bad acting coming up.

Lighthousekeeping · 31/01/2013 17:03

Oh he is do annoying. Have you noticed how all the women in the street put their kids on pedestals? They can never do any wrong and are always very quickly forgiven for murdering/kidnapping/crippling someone.

LineRunner · 31/01/2013 17:12

Oh God, that Ryan.

PoppyAmex · 31/01/2013 18:34

I know! They're almost always crap/absent/neglectful parents but then back up their children regardless of their behaviour.

Yes, Ryan - that's his name. I could slap him for a week and not get bored.

LineRunner · 31/01/2013 19:29

I've seen the spoiler and I don't care any more.

I am keen on the Lewis story though. Gail and Audrey and Lewis have been fab, mad and out there.

YouOldSlag · 31/01/2013 20:16

Grumpy- I agree.Ty's been there since he was a lad and never hurt a fly (apart from decking Kevin for sleeping with his wife and getting her up t'stick, which Kev deserved).

Kirsty has been unhinged in the factory, sacked from the police, and keeps getting rid of house guests every time she has a party.

So they all believe her instead of a long term popular resident.

I just hope all this is building up to something.

I hope it gets really bleak for Ty and just as its rock bottom, Kirsty drops the charges or something and he is vindicated. I think the writers are making it painful so the resolution will be more nail biting.

I tell you what though, I've gone right off Eileen and Julie!

ajandjjmum · 31/01/2013 20:27

Me too!

Clever how the two stories of Gail/Lewis and Nick/David/Kylie are coming together. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out, although still sad there can't be any happiness anywhere at the moment.

PuffPants · 31/01/2013 23:48

Can anyone tell me if Corrie was on last night or tonight? The most recent I can find on itv player is Monday...

LineRunner · 31/01/2013 23:50

Last night. I just watched it on ITV Player.

Monty27 · 31/01/2013 23:58

Gail's happy.

Silly tortoise. Grin

PuffPants · 01/02/2013 01:00

Ah, found it on youtube. Loved how Lewis revealed his "ghastly" intentions to Kylie, as if he was reading her the specials Grin

AmIthatWintry · 01/02/2013 02:11

I'm not enjoying the storylines just now

Gail's fluttering eyelashes and simpering

I agree about Eileen and Julie - I too have gone right off them. I can't believe they believe Kirsty and support her Angry

I also cannot understand, even in the world of soap, how Tracyluv can attract males. What are they seeing?

And Ryan - just uggghhh

Numberlock · 01/02/2013 06:18

Latest episodes on itv player are from Monday?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 01/02/2013 08:00

It just shows how clever Kirsty has been that she has completely fooled Julie and Eileen though. Also how we tend to assume the woman is the victim when we suspect DV.

LineRunner · 01/02/2013 08:29

When I went on to IT Player yesterday it asked for me to confirm my postcode, and then I was able to see the latest episode straight away. I do not know if these two things are connected.

whatkungfuthat · 01/02/2013 08:31

Wintry I so agree about Tracyluv and her acting is cringy like she is reading from an autocue.

I can't watch Julie now without seeing Yootha Joyce, as someone said upthread

Chippychop · 01/02/2013 09:53

Yootha Joyce ha ha ha yes of course!!!Grin

YouOldSlag · 01/02/2013 11:13

Yootha Joyce! Argh! Julie will never be the same to me now! Instead of Brian and Julie, I'll be thinking "George and Mildred!"

whatkungfuthat · 01/02/2013 11:49

All she needs is the pink furry mules and housecoat Grin

theliverpoolone · 01/02/2013 12:21

Where's Amy lately? I reckon she's going to reappear at some point played by a different child, having aged about 5 years.

Chippychop · 01/02/2013 12:56

Is mysisterjulie preggers in real
Life or is it her 1950's inspired clothes that just don't suit her?

YouOldSlag · 01/02/2013 13:41

Yes, Mini Yootha is indeed pregnant. It's lovely news isn't it! She seems nice in RL.

whatkungfuthat · 01/02/2013 14:41

She does seem nice. In soaplife Mildred is being kept from George as he plays Ian Beale in 'stenders.

Chippychop · 01/02/2013 15:00

So is yootha The second going to have a breakdown once she finds out what a scheming madam Kirsty is and when she cant get over how sucked in she was go off the sanatorium until her ML is over???

GayleFartsAreLoud · 01/02/2013 18:38

Hayley is pregnant in rl too. www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-30567/Baby-joy-Corries-Hayley.html and she is leaving coronation street?. Sad Poor Roy. Who will they pair him up with next? Scary Mary?
