On a desperate note, felt so sorry for Eva. I really wasn't a fan if hers at first, but quite like her now.

I'm still 15 episodes behind the current one, but how bizarre is Sally with her new "Life Coach" persona?

So far she had the "talking stick" with Michelle and horrid Ryan and then scolded the physio for using "negative words"

Eva gets on my nerves too - she needs to grow up a bit. Have a horrible feeling she will now try to come between Nick and Leanne - did you see her spying on them on Friday?

lewis is awful, i feel sorry for audrey, she deserves some happiness

and i don't like eva too, she is like an overgrown whiny teenager - i think she will try and split up nick and leanne as well, but also i think leanne is not very into nick, i think she still loves peter.

I can't stand the Peter/Carla/Leanne love triangle; I find them all as bad as each other and couldn't care less about what happens to their characters (including the very annoying Simon; that's horrible isn't it? )

Really gripped with Tina's story though, loads of potential there.

No idea Poppy! Quite a few possibilities though...Tina/Tommy, Eva/Leanne/Nick/Peter, Lewis/Gail/Audrey...oh just thought! How about a big story to do with Kirsty/Tyrone? That would be well timed for Xmas. I would love to see Tyrone get together with Fizz.

I quite like little Simon but detest Peter and Carla. Quite right Moomie - Peter is no catch.

Leanne goes from crazy arson bitch to holier than thou mother figure - she's all over the shop - absolutely no consistency to her character at all. She is the one character I find truly irritating.

Hated Sean in that episode, he was just vile and behaved really horribly didn't he?

Yes - Sean was horrible in that episode and I think it portrayed Jason in a different light too. That level of violence was uncalled for.

Gail definitely going doe-eyed. She's had terrible luck with men hasn't she?

Has anyone mentioned the utter unreality of Kirsty being 'promoted' from packing to stand-in boss? I nearly laughed out loud. But why shoud be surprised, afterall we've got Rob -straight out of t'nick (prison that is not Nick Tilsley) thinking he's Alan Sugar and Michelle, six months ago a singer/barmaid now boss of t'factory. Kirsty needs to get her come-uppance big time. She's lower that a snake's belly.

The trouble with Corrie frequently is that the characters change so much you never get the chance to sympathise with any of them e.g Leanne was utterly nasty to Eva but you end up not rooting for either of them because they both do the dirty
