I sky+ Corrie and have made it a policy to fast forward through any scenes with Gail and Lewis in it. It still pains me to watch it speeded up.

Not at all bothered about watching Lewis with Gail - more funny than yuk - but still don't get why he is so intent on revenge instead of getting back with Audrey where he belongs!!

I wish Lewis had turned out nice after all, this is far too far fetched. Gail is so naive. Feel sorry for Audrey.

Ken- I agree. It seems silly that he is spending all his energy on this elaborate long game to trick Gail when Audrey would have had him back and they could have just carried on as they were.

Yes, this storyline is just silly - he should've got back to Audrey.

For some bizarre reason, I found Sunita and Karl's trysts much more revolting.

I recoil from Carl and Sunita, he is such a cocklodger (to borrow a MN term).

Oh I agree with everything. It's total shit at the moment. How many near deaths can we have on one street? Sophie left nearly dead in a car crash and now fully recovered. Fizz declared DOA in hospital to wake up totally fine. And for all the utter shittiness Lewis has put others through the moment he gets pranked he decides to ruin Gail and Gloria. So he can dish it out but not take it.

And I agree also that Peter is utter utter knob. Physio is cold and weird. Sophie annoying. Tyrone an idiot always letting friends take the blame for his dumbness. Oh and all of a sudden 80 year old Emily is chief babysitter for hope/ Joseph/ ruby!! Ha. I haven't watched since new year but have sky plussed it. Dreading getting to the liplock of Gail and Diana lookalike Lewis. Ew.

Have to say I met Gail whilst walking through the west end last year (as yer do) and screamed 'omg its Gail platt' really loud. It just came out. She was absolutely lovely. Really soft spoken and polite. She stopped for photos (yes am that sad) and a long chat about horrid kylie was. We made her late for her show but she was lovely. And very bouncy hair in real life.

I hope you didn't make her either for a show she had come all the way down to London to see or, a show that she was starring in!! Did she tell you that? You don't mean proper late do you?

I think it was one she was going to see. And it wasn't too late, just pre show drinks she said. But she was with a very handsome fella. Think she's engaged to him now. But she seemed really happy to have been recognised, said that it rarely happened. I was surprised as she does have, erm, a very, erm, distinctive face.

Can you imagine having to keep Gail Tilsley out of a west end show until the interval cos she was late?

Sniggering here at Bakingnovice describing Lewis as a Diana lookalike. But also because I love Nige - have had a crush on him for decades. The flicker of "Wtf?" that passed across Lewis' face after Gail's wittering about the poetry of Pam Ayres was a joy to behold.

How long before Tina and Tommy are reconciled? A fortnight? Then break up again a fortnight after that? The get back together again a fortn...blah blah blah.

And how many times must we put up with Leanne dramatically announcing her immediate departure from Weatherfield after yet another lovers' tiff?
