I need to discuss this episode in great detail!! Can someone who has seen it please comment on what you think is the best bit? Also did you think it was very sad?

OP posts:
HarlettOScara · 25/11/2012 20:57

GE? the. Stoopid auto correct!

wintera · 25/11/2012 23:02

I haven't read the graphic novels but am aware of what was inflicted on Michonne by the Gov in the comics though. Doesn't look like that's going to happen in the tv show. I hope to God they don't change it to Maggie. Would be awful that!

NotAChocolateRaisin · 26/11/2012 11:55

HAS ANYONE WATCHED THE NEXT EPISODE? Arghhh!

Am dying for next weeks episode now (the mid-season finale...booo!)

This weeks episode was horrible. Had to skip bits for the first time! Sad

FivesAndNorks · 26/11/2012 12:24

Is it a definite then that the phone calls were just Ricks subconscious working hrough his issues?

HarlettOScara · 26/11/2012 13:47

Yes, definitely all in Rick's head. The voices on the phone were Amy (Andrea's sister), Jacqui and Jim who all died in the first season (I think).

HarlettOScara · 26/11/2012 13:48

And Lori, of course.

Melty · 26/11/2012 14:52

God, that was grim.
I was really scared.
David Morrissey does the psycho really well.

bettys · 26/11/2012 16:56

He is not nice, the Governor.
That was the most talking Michonne has ever done. She is the business, Andrea is such a fool.

NotAChocolateRaisin · 26/11/2012 17:01

Are we talking about the latest episode? Are we allowed to talk about it?!

*so excited

Melty · 26/11/2012 17:06

Favourite lines:
Lassie went home
Remember the Alamo.

It was very tight, and I was perched on the edge of the sofa. This season is about 10 times better than last season.
Oh and Yay Glenn.

NotAChocolateRaisin · 26/11/2012 17:08

This episode was so tense! Fantastic acting all round and they really got the atmosphere going re; the governer.
Can not wait until next weeks episode.

wintera · 26/11/2012 17:36

I really hate how America has mid- season breaks! Its crap! I'd rather wait longer and have the whole season in one. Now we're gonna be really into it and then have to wait till Feb next year for it to come back after its break!

NotAChocolateRaisin · 26/11/2012 17:38

Feb next year??? nooooo

Melty · 26/11/2012 17:39

How has Andrea any white underpants? Surely they'd be a bit grey by now?
And really, a Thong?

wintera · 26/11/2012 17:57

Agree about Andrea looking remarkably well these days. She'd only been in Woodbury about two minutes and her hair looked like it had been done and she had new make up on - the works!

At least Lori always looked the part with that long tatty looking mane she always had!

Melty · 26/11/2012 18:02

And Poor Maggie, I was so worried about her. I wonder why they stoped short? Mind you, he was equally as menacing as if he had done the deed.

Did you notice, her hair went from rats tailey to shiny while waiting for the Guvna.

ToffeeWhirl · 26/11/2012 20:13

I shouldn't be reading this as I haven't watched the latest episode yet (will be watching as soon as I have settled DS2), but am distraught to hear there is a mid-season break. Please tell me it's not true. I look forward to this programme every week Sad.

Actually, your hints have got me even more excited. What did the Guvnor stop short of with Maggie? What deed?

wintera · 26/11/2012 22:15

There is definitely a mid season break. All the American shows do it but most of the time, when they are shown in Britain they are shown later so then the whole season can be shown in its entirety. But fx shows the walking dead just a few days after so we'll get the break too. They did it last year as well if you remember. If its the same then it will be back in Feb next year.

ToffeeWhirl · 26/11/2012 22:41

You are right. They said so at the end of the show Sad. I don't know how I'll wait until February.

It was another great episode. Poor Glenn and Maggie. Boos to Andrea and the Guvnor. Lustful looks at Darren.

Loved the throbbing, suspense-building music at the end.

HarlettOScara · 27/11/2012 07:10

Mid season finale. Noooooooo!

We may need to set up a support group to get us through 2 months without new episodes.

Another blinder of an episode. My god, the tension...it just didn't let up.

Daryl is getting all the best lines. Loved him packing tear gas and flash bangs into the back of the car like he was packing groceries :) Can't wait to see how the divided loyalties thing will play out between him and Merle.

ToffeeWhirl · 27/11/2012 10:35

Yes to a support group, Harlett!

My DS2 (7) told me yesterday that he now plays 'zombie apocalypse' at playtime Grin. He is very put out that we won't let him watch this programme we love so much.

WickedGirl · 27/11/2012 12:03

Poor Maggie.

Poor glen

Can someone please feed Andrea to the zombies.....she is such a pathetic, weak person.

The governor is nasty. Can't wait till next weeks. Do you think they'll get Glenn and maggie back?

wintera · 27/11/2012 16:48

The actress who plays Andrea must be so pissed off with what's happening to her character. I am sure I saw an interview with her at the end of season two and she was saying she was really looking forward to the next season because Andrea was going to be all no nonsense and kick ass! Instead they've made her more annoying than ever and she's probably taken over from Lori in that she's the character the viewers love to hate! Poor cow!

NotAChocolateRaisin · 27/11/2012 20:12

I think someone significant is going to die for the midseason finale. Seemed that way in the trailer and it makes logistical sense...

wintera · 27/11/2012 20:14

Aww hope its not Glenn or Maggie. I think they make a sweet couple.
