I need to discuss this episode in great detail!! Can someone who has seen it please comment on what you think is the best bit? Also did you think it was very sad?

I agree Shane was NOT sexy - his face looked like it was made from play doh

Is it sad that I almost cried when Darryl found Carol? I knew she was alive :)

However I didn't shred a tear when Lori bit the dust, sorry she was too whiney for me. Oh and don't get me stated on Andrea, flipping heck woman have some control and realise he's a baddun!

This series is really kicking series 2's backside.

I am so glad about Carol. Watching Daryl psych himself him to kill her made me all emotional. I'm sure he knew it was Carol behind the door and thought she had been turned. If it had been anyone else he would have just walked straight in and got it done.

And Michonne, just wow. Yes she is fantastic with that sword but I agree, there was so much emotion expressed in that one look at the prison fence. She looked really vulnerable. It was like she knew she had found someone she could trust and desperately needed them to trust her too. reads far to much into one look

And yes, very good of her to bring the shopping Grin Although the red shopping basket kinda ruined her badass look!

too

I have a headache, not a hangover from drinking too much wine whilst watching The Walking Dead

NoHank, I totally agree, her acting is amazing. She is the strong female character that has been needed :)

Anyone pick up what Lori said on the phone to Rick? Was she confirming the baby was his???

Report
HarlettOScara · 24/11/2012 12:02

Just rewatching it now and Lori does say 'our baby' on the phone but really all she says is to ask Rick to look after Carl and the baby and then the line goes fuzzier and fuzzier which I think is supposed to represent Rick coming to his senses.

Some amazing acting from Andrew Lincoln again in this episode.

Thanks, I was never clear whether it could have been Rick's or definitely Shanes.

Let's face it - with Lori, the baby could be anyone's!

HarlettOScara · 24/11/2012 12:17

I don't think it's meant to be clear who the father is. I guess even Lori couldn't have known for sure but given his last 'conversation' with her on the phone where he obviously regretted how things had been between them at the end and his plans to have found somewhere to keep them all safe, I think assuming the baby is his and treating her as such and protecting her is his way of making things right.

But if the baby grows up to resemble a donkey and have slightly sociopathic tenddencies, then I guess we'll have our answer Grin

2 Ds in tendencies? Really? Hmm Can't even blame the ipad/iphone as I'm on the laptop for a change [crap typist emoticon]

Ah that makes sense, couldn't bloody hear it last night, deleted it off sky + for some unknown reason and then thought about it ever since! Totally missed the goveners with his daughter as well, not sure how that happened???

Governor & daughter were at the very start of the episode, before the opening credits, iirc. Your sky box may have cut it off if there was a clash with another programme recording just ending. Happens all the time on mine.

Andrea reminds me of those women - and we all know them - pretty, clever etc seem to have their head screwed on, but when it comes to men, they are total bloody arsehole magnets!!

What was the Bitergram bit? Don't remember it.

At the beginning of the episode, Merle and the expendable Woodbury crew find walker bits arranged on the ground in the woods spelling out GO BACK. Think it was just before Michonne ambushed them and took out 2 of them.

Thanks Harlett - I saw that bit but hadn't realised that's what everyone was referring to.

Merle referred to it as Michonne leaving them a bitergram :). Fit got to say that in my previous post.

I think we need a zombie apocalypse AIBU board.

New DP wants me to babysit his zombified daughter while he re-arranges the severed heads in his fishtank. WIBU to say no?

Tesco Direct delivery was two days late and delivered by gore-spattered glowering woman with sword. AIBU complaining?

YABU to order from Tesco. If you ordered from Ocado you'd get Daryl in a cabbage van and he'd have freshly slaughtered your side of vension en route.
