Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

• slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
• help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
• shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
• bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

The waiting room is empty (as usual). Take a seat.

I like the new temp receptionist.

Mind you, give me a week and I'll hate her, it is rare I like a character for long!

Can't believe you like the new receptionist. She's awful! I will miss Mrs T and Karen while they are on hols.

I like her because she seems tactless. I think she will be funny. I also think she will reveal more behind TBFE and 6tl.

I am prepared to be told "I told you so" when I come on here in a week moaning about her.

Of course I'll miss Mrs T & Gobby, but we desperately need some new characters. Thank goodness there are hardly any patients in Leatherbridge!

New young characters or a family with children or something?

I have already decided I don't like the new receptionist- much as I complain about Gobby, I'd much rather her and Mrs T than the newbie.

Poor TBFE- he must be the worst practice manager ever. All his staff are jumping ship, and he can't even organise the stationery order.

Actually, the pm at my doctors surgery is pretty crap- she's been done for fraudulently paying herself over 100 hours overtime. Despite never working past 4pm

Pumpkin I think you are in the minority in liking Cherry but each to their own . There is a bubblegum gap now as you say. The temp receptionist will probably suffice.

Mourning the loss of the intercom. It was comedy gold.

Love the blabbermouth receptionist. She is genius!

Bloomin' heck claimed. Errrr:

• Cherry and Daniel shagged some time ago
• Jimmi found out
• Cherry told TBFE (Howard) that she had to resign because she had shagged Daniel and was lying to Jimmi about trying for a baby (she was still taking the Pill)
• Everyone heard Cherry say the above over the recently installed intercom system
• Karen and Mrs T are on holiday. Not together. So we have a ditsy temporary woman instead who knows Emma (6tl) and Howard.

Claimed - Jimmi discovered Cherry's infidelity, TBFE installed an intercom, Cherry resigned and told TBFE about shagging Daniel. Intercom was on, whole surgery heard.

That's all you need to know.
