Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

• slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
• help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
• shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
• bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

I am back back to shift working, so get to see some Doctors on days off (after 3 months of mon-Fri working) . Today was suitably back to form on WTF rating. More disturbing was that a small ferret attached to gobbyplod's top lip?

We have decided it is a fake 'tache with a life of its own that scuttles around at night. Actually, ferrets are probably like that. Ugh!

What's the back story with the Gobbyplods? I remember seeing a Christmas day storyline with them in during one of my previous periods of watching but that's about all. Are they long time married? Happy? Is he likely to fall for CWPP's charms?

Long time married. Empty nesters now their children are at Uni/ in jobs. Happy for the most part but have ups and downs.

And the way Gobbyplod was waggling his 'tasche today, I would guess a little liaison isn't far from his mind cheating bstard

Sniffing shoes cos I think she realised they were new & hadn't been worn-either that or a shoe fetish!
Gobbyplods have always seemed ok in their marriage to me (apart from the abortion storyline obvs)so this potential legover with his boss might be a wtf too far for me.

Re the shoes- I had the horrifying thought that perhaps she could smell semen on them.

The shoe bit was yuck, I had to hide behind a cushion.

Now I need to erase a shoe sniffer and a doll from my memory. FOREVER! Gross.

I should get to see it today. Unexpected as I was meant to be at my DDs science fair (fare/fayre?) but she has a temperature and is off school. She's really disappointed.

Move was drefful, but is lovely now we're in, as long as you ignore the room of doom living room.

Baby Cakes slept little and badly for the first well, then 2 nights of ok sleep and now the teeth have started up. Kill me now.

On the plus side the tv is up and running now, but doctors is less fun without you lot. And why has Gobby Plod got that vile 'tache?
