IF Ant and Dec didn't do it I don't think it would be as good I watched an american one a few years ago it was just rubbish. I havn't heard any rumours who is going in yet but the advert is running

Chemistry wise- I'm hoping for Dani & Vincent. They seem more matey though.

Vincent is married and dani is about 12 I love them though they look like they are having such a great time and are my favourites, I think fern has a bit too much chemistry for Arterm (who can blame her though )

I know but they are sweet. Actually Victoria and Brendan would make a v good looking couple. Not a sign of chemistry though.

Victoria is engaged to a scientist on the gb cycling squad. I'd be very surprised if anything happened.

I think Brendan is very good-looking but the second he opens his mouth, his voice and accent really turn me off. And this is coming from someone married to an antipodean! But he does know his stuff and I always enjoy watching him dance when the pros do their thing without their star partners.

I prefer it this year as more of them are celebrities I've actually heard of, probably because I'll watch sport but not soaps.
I find it a bit weird when the dancers are all cuddly with their celebrities. The way ?Artem was stroking Fern Brittan's neck and shoulder waiting for the results was a bit cringy.
I'm maybe just uptight as I'm not keen on being hugged by anyone who isn't immediate family or a very close friend so can identify with Victoria being a bit uptight.

Sorry everyone (hoists bosom) are we encouraging extra marital relations here? [hshock] I've always thought it must be weird watching yr. partner dancing with e.g. Ola or Colin and hearing the judges talk about 'chemistry' between the dancers. IFYSWIM And it's all so PUBLIC!!!

not at all just sometimes it is nice to see some sizziling dancing and we are shallow and a bit bored

I thought they were on a break Mrsjay. His girlfriend saw him all the way through Any Dream Will Do, cheering in the audience too.

I think there has to be a certain amount of chemistry to make the dances work but that doesn't mean they're all nymphomaniacs who will shag anything that moves. Also working that physically close to someone means you have to lose certain inhibitions anyway. Just for them to hold you in the right place at the right time.

DVO's dance partner is HOT IMO and he's worked out how to handle her too!

I think Dancing on Ice is worse invasion of personal space wise. You can't quite work out where their hands have to go in the lifts. I think I would struggle to be that close dancing or skating with a total stranger.
