Also, call me naive but I don't see why they'd have to kill Carrie. Re. the supposed big deal over the drone strike, I don't think it's unusual that they fuck up, or that the fuck ups get covered up, and I don't think it's likely only two people in the world (Estes and Walden) know that that particular strike levelled a school. Carrie's so happy to be back in the CIA she's not going to go blabbing about a stray bomb, and if they have to shoot Brody, they can surely cover that up easily for her benefit? He could have shot himself when they tried to arrest him, perhaps? She's already seen him rolling about the floor in tears, it's not too much of a stretch to think he might be suicidal or pushed over the edge.

Also, IIRC Damien Lewis was on some chat show or other talking about how he's contracted to (whichever network) for a while yet. So, with my newly paranoid hat on, was this all a double-bluff and will he in fact die?

No I think the hit and run thing is over; Dana's not going to say anything now she's been told not to by the dead woman's family. IMO that was just a device to put a barrier between Dana and Brody and spark up the multiple infidelities again (Dana grasses her dad up re. seeing Carrie, Jess shags Mike). I think something's going to come up WRT Brody being a practising Muslim, prob from Dana.

Why didn't Carrie mention the pacemaker thing when she called in to say where Nazir was? Was she so fixated on Nazir that she forgot to mention a planned attack on the VP? Or did she mention it?

I still keep going back to that scene in the hotel where she gave away how pissed off she was with Brody and then made sure the CIA captured him. Maybe its part of a game based on my earlier predictions you should probably ignore me.

Roya actress is British not American. As I said ^^ it is common for baddies in US films/series to be British. It gets over the awkwardness of US actors being seen as unpatriotic if they take on anti-American roles.

I'm having trouble believing the CIA haven't tapped Brody's mobile/recorded and traced all his calls, given that they know he was and possibly still is BFFs with Abu Nazir.

I quite like Quinn, more than Brody or any other men on the show. I used to be a Damien Lewis fan but am no longer.

I think Carrie really does love him , so much more than he realises. He is fond of her but I'm not sure who he would save if it came to a Nasir/ Carrie situation.

Much as I hate to say it I am very suspicious of Saul. His motives are unclear, it feels like he has another agenda behind that impenetrable beard face .

What am I going to watch and talk about when this is finished ? I need another intriguing and hugely implausible series :)

Why haven't they got a bug in Brody's phone? Also why don't they ever use the technology like the Gibbs DiNozzo NCIS team where they can tell exactly where phone calls are made from
