I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

Ooh, like it Hassled. Hope that the plot does not get too silly. Am forcing myself to overlook the fact that Carrie is back in the fold.

difficultpickle · 02/12/2012 22:14

FBI deal with national security like our MI5 and CIA deal with foreign threats, like our MI6 (James Bond).

gypsyfloss · 02/12/2012 22:24

That wasn't an ending I was expecting. Am confused as fuck now.

onedev · 02/12/2012 22:47

I love it - it's fab. I feel sick with fear watching it & don't notice any problems with plausibility! Grin

Hassled · 02/12/2012 22:55

mamaus said earlier about not wanting to wish the weekend away - but I'm sort of already there. The weekend isn't about lie-ins and quality family time (and ironing) anymore, it's all about Homeland.

I have to confess - Saul mentioned Dar Adul and I thought "who's that? I'll have to google him" Blush. I forgot this was fiction.

I assumed the bloke was Irish & his name was Dara Dool - guess where I'm from Grin

My DH is the same Hassled - when we both got in from work on Friday, he didn't say 'yeah, it's the weekend' he said 'Homeland on Sunday!' Grin

BOFingSanta · 02/12/2012 23:02

Blimey, that was tense! My stomach is still churning.

GetorfsaMotherfuckingMorrisMan · 02/12/2012 23:12

Lol at bsjos explanation of the security services with (james bond) as a helpful appendage. [Grin]

I am just MEH about this show now, it's silly.

I wanted Dana so much to catch her chinless wonder mother in Action Man's bed.

GetorfsaMotherfuckingMorrisMan · 02/12/2012 23:14

I really fancy David Estes. I like his pixie ears (something handy to grab onto).

BOFingSanta · 02/12/2012 23:15

God no, I still love it- I'm going to be bereft when it finishes. Dana's whiny teen act is so irritating. Realistic though Grin. The brother is dopier than a labrador with a lobotomy.

GetorfsaMotherfuckingMorrisMan · 02/12/2012 23:19

I love Dana. The look on her face when she kind of rolled her eyes as if to say 'here we fucking go again' when Dopey came tot take them to the CIA safehouse made me laugh out loud. She is a great actress. All the stroppiness of a teenager but with real heart.

LightHousekeeping · 03/12/2012 11:54

My friend just text me and asked me will sandman now know that he grassed them up? What does that mean? Confused I dont know what on earth is going on!

BOFingSanta · 03/12/2012 11:56

The Sandman is their code word for Abu Nazir.

ohfunnyface · 03/12/2012 12:05

Ohhhh last night was good! I have been very faithful to homeland- I am ignoring the silliness!

Great Expectations...what could that mean? Are we meant to draw comparisons between Quinn and Pip??

LightHousekeeping · 03/12/2012 12:12

Why didnt the want Sol to find out about their plans for Brody?

annieapple7 · 03/12/2012 12:30

Maybe to create tension in the CIA camp - Saul and Carrie v Estes and Quinn.
How many more episodes left?
Hope there is more snogging between Carrie and Brody to come - cor - great chemistry between them.
And why does Brody's wife call Brody Brody? Surely it would be Nick? Even Nazir calls him Nicholas!

diddl · 03/12/2012 12:33

Well I would be pretty certain that the whole thing would be to find out which side he is loyal to.

Obviously if he foils a plot by Nazir/gives them Americans Nazir then he´s no use to the Americans anymore.

Likewise, if he isn´t loyal to Nazir, he´s no use to him either.

diddl · 03/12/2012 12:35

So they didn´t get Sandman-because Brody warned him or because Nazir didn´t trust Brody/it was a test?

BOFingSanta · 03/12/2012 12:48

It could be either, I suppose. I think we are still meant to have an element of doubt about Brody- he didn't mention to the CIA that he had texted him to save him previously, and he omitted them praying together from his account of their meeting.

I think Carrie is going to discover the CIA plot to kill Brody, and go on the run with him. Then something will happen which suggests to her that he is still in cahoots with Nazir, and she will have to choose between her love for him and her loyalty to her country.

ohfunnyface · 03/12/2012 16:01

I agree that we're meant to doubt Brody.

I think we'll see this season ending with Brody going on the run.

notwoo · 03/12/2012 16:07

Good thinking BOF

MrsJamin · 03/12/2012 21:33

Have seen next week's homeland. At the end of it my heart was literally racing. It's the best tv ever made, surely?

BOFingSanta · 03/12/2012 21:40

It's got to be up there, MrsJamin. Top ten, anyway.

ohmeohmy · 03/12/2012 22:00

Why does the book titled Marines keep featuring in foreground of scene in VP's office?

mamaus · 03/12/2012 23:19

Have just found out that we only have 3 episodes left of this season Shock is that right? Didn't want to look too hard on the Internet as I like to be totally surprised every Sunday.
