I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

When did suspicions about Quinn come up? Don't remember anything last week, and he was nearly killed in the tailors shop. me and DP feel like we've missed an episode, but have faithfully watched each one.

Hassled · 02/12/2012 21:45

Not Nazir - was F Murray Abrahams (the actor) who I spotted was guest starring,

No I think it was an elderly black man? This is getting strange and a little ridiculous.

PseudoBadger · 02/12/2012 21:45

I think they (Carrie, Virgil) were suspicious as soon as Quinn was brought in so quickly. Although they've kept Carrie in the dark with this.

Hassled · 02/12/2012 21:46

Carrie was the one originally suspicious of Quinn - don't know why Virgil's now reporting back to Saul

SO it was, Hassled - the chap from Amadeus!

difficultpickle · 02/12/2012 21:49

Every week I watch this. Every single sodding week. And I still don't have a clue what is going on.

difficultpickle · 02/12/2012 21:49

Who the hell is Dar Adal?

PseudoBadger · 02/12/2012 21:50

Maybe Quinn is investigating the mole? Saul

WipsGlitter · 02/12/2012 21:51

Has he poisoned Saul? With the coffee?

Bue · 02/12/2012 21:51

I think Saul is there investigating one of them? I didn't like the look on Saul's face...

RedZombie · 02/12/2012 21:51

If he knows that they have checked out his girlfriend, why would he meet up with some shady character? Surely he knows that they would be following him?

HazeltheMcWitch · 02/12/2012 21:53

Bisjo, Dar Adal is the chap on the bus that quinn met. Saul confirmed that he knew him 18 yrs ago, running super-secret ops from Kenya into Somalia. The way they spoke about him said that a) he's very high up/important, and b) into some very secret/borderline stuff.
And that quinn cant be a mere analyst if he;s meeting with him in secret, ergo Quinn is also on some kind of secret mission on the team.

HazeltheMcWitch · 02/12/2012 21:55

stress on the KILL terrorists there??

HazeltheMcWitch · 02/12/2012 21:57

shit, that looked like Bruce Jenner (not Nasir) !!

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 02/12/2012 21:58

Brody was so not expecting him!

PseudoBadger · 02/12/2012 21:58

A parallel mission to get rid of Brodie.

difficultpickle · 02/12/2012 21:59

Hazel I got that he was the guy on the bus but who is he? Bit fed up with all of this as it is all so far fetched now that I'm losing interest.

PseudoBadger · 02/12/2012 22:00

He's also in the CIA Bisjo.

HazeltheMcWitch · 02/12/2012 22:01

He's CIA, bisjo.

northender · 02/12/2012 22:01

What number episode was that? And of how many?

Bue · 02/12/2012 22:01

I hate David Estes.

I still don't get why Nasir would trust Brody enough at this point to disclose his great terrorist plan, however...

Hassled · 02/12/2012 22:04

I don't think Dar Abul/Salieri is CIA - wasn't there mention of the FBI?

Why have I never noticed Estes' pixie ears before now?
Is the fact that Quinn's only book is "Great Expectations" significant?

OP posts:
Hassled · 02/12/2012 22:06

So sooner or later Carrie will work out that the plan is to kill Brodie as soon as he's no longer valuable (as soon as they have Nazir) and will sabotage that somehow, leading neatly into a justification for Season 3.

OP posts:
HazeltheMcWitch · 02/12/2012 22:10

Pixie Ears (had not noticed that) said that Quinn was 'acting as FBI liaison' when Saul questioned him. But that was obvs a porky.

No idea now whether Salieri is FBI or CIA. Also no idea what things belong in each dept, so it's a moot point for me. But we do know he's a top secret spy type man, right?
