I am beside myself with excitement. here - who's putting the contacts in? Is that Carrie in a disguise? Any one else agog?

Only just found this thread but I love Homeland. I have no idea who that was at the end though Hmm. Any ideas?

eatyourveg · 25/11/2012 22:09

I wonder if it was a turned congressman which would explain why Brody seemed so shocked. Surely if it was Nazir he wouldn't be surprised to see him

raininginbaltimore · 25/11/2012 22:09

I don't think it looked like Nazir. He has a beard doesn't he? Don't have sky plus though so can't rewind?

ConstantCraving · 25/11/2012 22:10

Maybe suprised that nazir is on US soil?

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 25/11/2012 22:11

Ahh, massive cross post! Abu Nasir, blimey.

HazeltheMcWitch · 25/11/2012 22:12

It is Nazir. I wanted to make sure that it was not the lovely Saul, so I checked an episode recap or three.

Wiki says: Brody, having been taken to an unknown location, finds himself face-to-face with Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban) as the episode ends.

Hassled · 25/11/2012 22:12

I reckon it was Nazir - that's why in the "previously on Homeland" bit we saw Nazir by the car in Beirut. Bloody hell that was tense. And how the fuck do you get Al Qaeda's No2 (or whatever he is) into the US, exactly?

OP posts:
digestiveandacupoftea · 25/11/2012 22:12

It was definitely AN and surely Brody was astonished that he was in the US. That was our first reaction: 'how the hell did he get into the US'.
Loved this episode - full of suspense, from the bit where Carrie and Brody were doing the deed onwards.

difficultpickle · 25/11/2012 22:12

I reckon it is the tailor.

Hassled · 25/11/2012 22:14

More outstanding acting - the plot may be getting flakier than a 99, but the acting remains superb.

gypsyfloss · 25/11/2012 22:14

I spent most of this rewinding to try and catch bits that I missed cos the sound was a bit shit. Was it Nazir? If so Brody seemed very shocked to see him and yet it seemed like the obvious person for him to meet .

scarletfingernail · 25/11/2012 22:14

Definitely Nasir.

I was cringing so much when Quinn and Saul were listening to the shagging.

difficultpickle · 25/11/2012 22:15

This means I'm going to have to watch it again C4+1 just to try and work out what is going on Blush

If it Nazir then it confirms the mole in the CIA is high up enough to get him papers to get into the US. Maybe the season 1 mole plot is about to reappear?

eatyourveg · 25/11/2012 22:15

According to this it was Nazir - pity as it would have been much more exciting to have another mole in the pentagon

BeeBawBabbity · 25/11/2012 22:24

What did Nazir say at the end when he saw Brodie?

donnie · 25/11/2012 22:26

Twas definitely Nasir. But how long has he been in the US? he looked like a regular Western guy now that he has lost his beard and Arabic clothes.

There is a bond between those two....I don't think Brody will be able to betray Nasir when it comes down to it. He is a classic sufferer of Patti Hearst syndrome IMO.

Poor Saul having to listen to Carrie and Brody going at it hammer and tongs though - rather like a dad being forced to listen to his own daughter Grin

It is all getting very silly though. And Jessica's neck is more troublesome with each passing week!

nameuschangeus · 25/11/2012 22:26

He said 'Neekolaaaas'
Translated Nicholas but in a slightly threatening tone Grin

besmirchedandbewildered · 25/11/2012 22:27

He said:

"Neecolaaaars"

God I love Homeland!

Apollinare · 25/11/2012 22:28

well I'll never be a CIA opo - I thought that it was Max from the back of the van ...

BeeBawBabbity · 25/11/2012 22:29

Ahh of course. Thanks name and besmirched.

difficultpickle · 25/11/2012 22:30

Apollinare that's next week's plot Grin

Hassled · 25/11/2012 22:30

Can we all now agree that I was right and some of you were wrong and Saul is indeed Good? As good as a big bag of cuddly kittens and rightousness?

OP posts:
Showtime · 25/11/2012 22:30

Did anyone hear what AN said at the end of episode?

Hassled · 25/11/2012 22:31

righteousness? Still looks wrong.

OP posts:
difficultpickle · 25/11/2012 22:32

Hassled sorry I want him to be good but he did enable two vital witnesses to kill themselves so I'm still not sure. I don't think he's redeemed himself by listening to Carrie shagging Grin
