They appeal me, to not as much as Hollywood though !!! Xmas is the only time of year I always THINK of making stollen or whatever I get the recipe books out etc. and ask what everyone wants and they always say chocolate roulade and or lemon drizzle cake so I'm always disappointed.

I have made stollen (i love marzipan you see) once and they all ate it so maybe I'll just make it this week and freeze it so I'm not stressed out at the time.

A chocolate roulade would make me very happy at any time of year.

Saint Deel's recipe is the best; eat yr heart out St. Mary B. (i'm on a fairly strict WOE otherwise my weight balloons so once a year it has to be lady ).

I was watching The Famous Five earlier and it struck me who James reminds me of - Uncle Quentin !

Who, by the way, is very sexy.

I could give you a recipe without dairy flip not without eggs though. I make some very mean 'healthy' choc brownies that if you closed yr eyes you could imagine they were a choc roulade!!
