I am all bunged up with a cold and have a headache but I am ploughing on regardless.

Raahh · 17/07/2012 19:59

Cardibach- I went to Lampeter. Bit of a culture shock to a Mancunian in 1990! Carmarthen was the nearest 'big' town (16 miles away!Grin). The bus journey used to make me really sickGrin. If we were really adventurous- we'd go to Aberystwyth. If we were feeling suicidal, we got the Traws to Swansea or Cardiff. It used to feel like it took all day!Grin

I have been shopping and I have vodka. I think it will be more useful than food.

SuePurblybilt · 17/07/2012 20:11

Are you in tonight Raah? Good man yourself.

Raahh · 17/07/2012 20:14

I'm in providing the vodka hasn't knocked me out before 9

Grin

19 minutes to go and I'm still under the throw on the sofa. Sad Nothing ready for the morning, and DSs still up. Angry

Figgygal · 17/07/2012 20:49

Just watched last nights show on the v+ box in a record 16 minutes.

Cant believe this on every night whos bloody idea was that? Is it to test the stamina of whoever wins having to perform night after night? I don't mind telling you its testing mine to keep with it.

Thor jesus to win other than that couldn't give a monkeys!!

SuePurblybilt · 17/07/2012 20:55

Not a baby in the house washed here either.
Feck it, I will make tea and find the nice biscuits instead. Gots to keep your strength up.

cardibach · 17/07/2012 21:01

Raahh I went to Lampeter too, but from 1983-86, so even more backwoods ish! Loved it. We must share memories when this all gets too much

SuePurblybilt · 17/07/2012 21:03

4 yo with bad dream at 5 am. 1 yo STILL awake but only just .... I don't mind admitting that if DD settles then I may well be asleep by the first ad break ... Or the first time dawn French flirts with a Jesus .... Or Amanda Holden giggles .... Shouldn't be more than 3 minutes in ......

SuePurblybilt · 17/07/2012 21:04

Mel C is wearing a vest with sticky tape on one shoulder?

cardibach · 17/07/2012 21:04

In the words of whoever it was yesterday - 'Shurrup Jase you knobber'. A phrase which has gone into legend in this house.

cardibach · 17/07/2012 21:04

Is that colour coding I see?

FelicityElectricity · 17/07/2012 21:05

I'm in! DD still up.. Angry

Glaikit · 17/07/2012 21:05

Satin suits! And they've all got little coloured hankies! Have they all got a different colour?

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 17/07/2012 21:05

I try, cardi, I try

If ALW bangs on about finding the meaning in these lyrics, I may leave early.

Raahh · 17/07/2012 21:05

Did Alw just say Tim Rice came up the the plot???Grin

Cardibach- really?GrinI totally loved it- haven't been back since a friend got married there in '94. I still miss Wales.
