LemonMousse · 26/05/2012 23:16

Thank you Ireland (really, you didn't have to) Smile

Finally caught up with both this thread and the broadcast. Was watching on timeshift, had to record whilst getting kids to bed!

Maryz's comments about having to choose between the RTE and BBC broadcasts made me wonder why the two broadcasters can't share costs and both have the commentary feed from Graham Norton. Surely he'd like to be able to publicly support his own country's entry . . . or maybe not. Grin

SauvignonBlanche · 26/05/2012 23:17

ASillyPhaseIAmGoingThrough · 26/05/2012 23:18

Spain, Greece, Ireland, Itay and Portugal must be relieved, they don't have the expence next year of hosting Grin

Raahh · 26/05/2012 23:18

'He's had an extraordinary career'

this appearance has just killed it

BasilDonna · 26/05/2012 23:18

Hump, sorry, morally,you're the one.

duckdodgers · 26/05/2012 23:18

And it isn't as though our points were the difference between you winning and losing Grin

LemonMousse · 26/05/2012 23:19

Grin @ Graham Norton - "There's Greece, clapping in relief"

BiscuitNibbler · 26/05/2012 23:19

And at least we won't have to bail out the winners as Sweden can afford to host it. So it is a win for us really...

RueDeWakening · 26/05/2012 23:19

I dunno, clearly we didn't win, but we couldn't even come in a respectable last place!

juneybean · 26/05/2012 23:19

Didn't we do well Grin

ASillyPhaseIAmGoingThrough · 26/05/2012 23:19

Mr Norton, can't help himself, everytime Ireland gets a point he comments as well as the English points.

Why have the English had Wogan and Norton, both Irish, comment on English Eurovision?

SecretNutellaFix · 26/05/2012 23:20

BEcause they are funny
