Anyone watching?

He's younger than my Mum. His Dad was a bastard and he loved his Mum so where o where do his misogynistic views come from?

Robert Powell's not coming out of it too well either.

'Its not hard for a woman to make a man hit her' Shock Shock Shock

ifancyashandy · 11/05/2012 21:56

Bright women are to blame if thick men hit them. Apparently.

He's a total fucking arse.

girliefriend · 11/05/2012 21:59

I can't believe Piers just shook his hand, even he looked quite shocked and he has less morals than a slug!!!

Oh and men should go out to work and woman stay at home Hmm how exactly did all these insane women fall for this creature???!!!

ProcrastinateWildly · 11/05/2012 22:00

I really don't want to watch him trying to justify his domestic violence. He shouldn't be given publicity for it Hmm

bibbitybobbitybunny · 11/05/2012 22:03

Shan't be watching.

LineRunner · 11/05/2012 22:05

I am watching. It is difficult. But I am watching. He is coming across as a twat.

Yama · 11/05/2012 22:07

Yes, I knew I shouldn't be watching. I don't understand men who hit women, let alone men who make excuses for hitting women. He kept saying he was sorry but he really wasn't.

OP posts:
ifancyashandy · 11/05/2012 22:11

Agreed Yama. He kept saying '....but...'.

He's a deeply unpleasant man.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 11/05/2012 22:20

I opulent bear to see him do his 'I'm just a loveable rogue' face when 'holding his hands up' to shaggingaround and hitting women.

And wtf was 'all men wanted to be him and ll omen wanted to Leo ith him' about?
He as always been an ugly fucker.

I rember him an Rula saying how they wanted to adopt because they were too busy o bother with pregnancy and they wanted a boy. I must ave been quite young but I still realised what a pair of twats they were.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 11/05/2012 22:21

That should say 'all women want to sleep with him'

AnyFucker · 11/05/2012 22:22

I'll bet he is absolutely shite in bed

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 11/05/2012 22:25

I bet he would wet himself if faced with a real hard man situation. I bet he believes he really is a no nonsense, tough, maverick copper Hmm

Yama · 11/05/2012 22:29

He gives the impression he has a really feeble dick AF.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 11/05/2012 22:34

yes, yama

and that was even before the years of booze will have decimated the penis performance

Yama · 11/05/2012 22:40

Ha ha - he said he didn't have a drink problem because he only drank 'with the boys, then a whiskey .... oh and wine with lunch'. Well, I'm fucking teetotal then son.

OP posts:
franke · 11/05/2012 22:52

Watching it on ITV+1. He really is charmless isn't he? And all these friends and family saying how he never raised his hand to anyone. I wonder what they think now?

AnyFucker · 11/05/2012 22:54

I would say his shaking hands would belie his protestations of not having a problem with alcohol (no offense to other alcoholics, but it is really obvious to others)

carernotasaint · 11/05/2012 23:00

i have to say i was surprised at Robert Powell though. Surprised and shocked at him minimising some of the stuff Dennis has done. I certainly wouldnt have thought that these two would be friends before seeing this programme.
Oh and i dont know what your tv guides say but mine Radio Times said it should have been Lulu.
I reckon they thought that after the bad publicity surrounding this when it was filmed they thought they would slide this under the radar this week cos of the BGT finals. Cynical me?

Yama · 11/05/2012 23:05

Carer - I too was disappointed in Robert. Is it becasue he was Jesus do you think?

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 11/05/2012 23:08

I was just wondering why anyone thought there was anything different about Robert Powell Grin

carernotasaint · 11/05/2012 23:11

I think its cos Powell normally comes across as a lovely guy and we prob assume that this is the case because hes had a long successful marriage (to Babs from Pans People for years). i remember watching him in a series called Hannay in the "80s when i was a kid.
I think the Piers Morgan life stories stuff is the modern celebrity culture equivelent of "never meet your heroes" cos you could be disappointed.

carernotasaint · 11/05/2012 23:12

Bloody hell just to clarify neither Dennis or Robert are my hero.

Yama · 11/05/2012 23:16

I loved Hannay, I loved Powell as Jesus Christ and of course I loved The Detectives with Jaspar Carrot. Yes, don't meet your heroes, or watch them get interviewed anyway. Also, wasn't he quite moral in Holby City?

OP posts:
carernotasaint · 11/05/2012 23:19

I liked the Detectives too. id forgootten that one. I never really saw him in Holby City.
