Personally, I can't wait. At a complete loss since the end of Borgen. Smile

and what's this about the wig and Charlotte being Jewish? Confused

toldmywrath · 28/05/2012 18:51

Fester-orthodox Jewish ladies wear a wig to cover their own hair & the only men allowed to see their real hair is husband/sons. Don't think Charlotte is Jewish though...

festereagain · 29/05/2012 11:49

that's what puzzled me. I knew that about wigs but did not know Charlotte might be Jewish - could see no indications of that. Thanks for clarification! Smile

It was me with the wig/Jewish theory, I was just a bit stumped really Confused I can see your point Imperial re drinking, shagging etc! Grin

I find Martin such a failure as a person, and now he is completely destroyed. So bleak.

I've been out of action with a stupid broken wrist, hasn't stopped me watching my fixes of Scandi-crime though......
Two important (?) points - for teej or someone else with really good concentration to explain??
1.Which way up was poor August in that box - if he was in the box? I got the impression when hey took it out of the wall that it was vertical- in which case, no wonder he was dead?
and what was that light he could see flashing when he was still alive? Maybe it was just an artistic light, like the beautiful stop motion car lights on the bridge.

  1. Was anyone else struck by the resemblance between Stefan /Sonia and Siegmund /Sieglinde (in Wagner) Something about her acting in particular.

The whole thing was so beautifully crafted all through, wasn't it? I shall miss that when we get onto "Spiral" next week. Un different kettle de poissons.

BTW I'm enjoying Sebastian Wallander-mark-two - have we got a thread, please, anyone?

Tannhauser · 06/06/2012 01:42

I thought the light was in the box, as there was also a camera in there, presumably for Jens to torment Martin with, by having him watch August die.

aloiseb · 14/06/2012 20:38

Oh gd that's even worse than I thought....... tannhauser*. How would it relate to his revenge, though? He didn't have to watch his own son die.

ImperialBlether · 15/06/2012 20:15

But neither did Jens watch his own son die. Worse in a way as his son was never found again - that's what Jens wanted for Martin - never to know where he was.

God, these Scandi dramas take a long time to get out of my system!
