Watched it and half wished I had re-watched all of series one to get up to date. Their are so many storylines, not all the characters can fit into an episode. More please.

Jon Snow is supposed to look like a Stark (dark), Robb Stark is supposed to look more like his Tully mother (red-hair).

In theory all of the Stark children are supposed to look like Catelyn except Arya and Jon Snow. At one point Arya is told she looks like Lyanna (Ned's dead sister, the one Robert was in love with) and she says "no, Lyanna was beautiful" and runs off.

I think I can tell the difference between Rob and Jon now. I understand that they are supposed to be brothers and therefore look alike but jeez. John, Bran and Arya all look alike. The only Stark child cast to look like Mummy Stark is Sansa.

I am may not watch tonight, so will catch up when I have.

It's easy to tell the difference between Robb and Jon from about halfway through season 1 onwards because they are never in the same place! At the Wall/North of the Wall (with a big fur collar on his cloak) = Jon Snow. At Winterfell/heading an army = Robb.

See I get confused between Rob, Jon and the one who came to stay. Theon? Went to see his dad?

Rob and Jon are very similar - easy now they are separate.

Rob - brown eyes, last name Snow, illegitimate child of Ned stark - gone to the wall.
Jon - blue eyes, eldest child of Eddard/Ned and Catelyn Stark - fighting a war.
Theon - (Alfie Allen) was sent to Ned Stark and brought up as a ward after a rebellion in which his two elder brothers were killed (by Ned/Robert Baratheon). He has gone back home to the Iron Isles.

Red witchy women is Melisandre.

I love Sam too (Tyrion is the best imho)

Lord Petyr Baelish, (Littlefinger) is Royal Treasurer and brothel owner. Grew up with Catelyn Stark and her family.

I think the baby was a boy. Eyes were luminious blue so I think a wight rather than wilding??

Others/ Wights were in the first scene of the first season (I think). 'A race of zombie-like creatures - usually human characters who have been attacked and/or killed either by other wights or so-called white walkers - who have pallid skin and fierce ice-blue eyes, are referred to as 'wights'. They are described as being virtually impervious to all forms of attack, even forcibly amputated limbs are described as having sentience. Their only noted weakness is noted as being fire'.

First scene showing . Seriously spooky. I think they young guy is the Crow/ Wall/Black deserter that Ned kills in front of Bran.
