Think it's in the top 10 of weird Doctors stories!

I was watching todays somewhat jaw dropped WTF - but at the same time wondering what everyone would be saying on this thread Grin

I am a Doctors addict

I have watched from day one (hangs head in shame)

I used to have it on series record (to catch up on missed episodes but no longer!)

HarrietJ0nes · 27/04/2012 20:52

Just watched today's on iplayer.
I feel dirty Blush

stoatie · 27/04/2012 20:55

just had a bit of a reminiscence

Ah the lovely Lily - perfect for Heston

Oh no have just seen when Julia is going Sad

Just realised that the very annoying actress who portrayed Jude Carlyle is now playing equally annoying Moira Barton in Emmerdale Blush only just twigged (knew I recognised her but not from where!)

stoatie · 27/04/2012 20:56

sorry mistyped - the actress isn't annoying - I just find the characters whingy annoying types Blush

MustControlFistOfDeath · 27/04/2012 21:05

Right. I have watched today's on I-Player. WTAF? I felt embarassed for them, especially when Freya (her hair gets worse - how is that even possible Shock ) and Mandy were fighting in reception. And Daniel, cringe cringe.

I did like the bit where Mrs Tembe made sure Doc-tah Cah-tah didn't have any patients after 5pm so there would be no danger of him overrunning Grin I don't think there's ever any danger of overrun at The Mill.

SardineQueen · 27/04/2012 22:16

Oh GOD
iplayer

nonononono
I can't

Raahh · 28/04/2012 14:12

My doctors surgery is currently in the middle of its very own doctors plot!! The practice manager has been in court all week accused of over paying herself £9000 in overtimeShock

HarrietJ0nes · 28/04/2012 15:47

But can you walk straight in for an appt and have uninvited home visits?

Raahh · 28/04/2012 17:44

Grin at our doctors we are lucky yo get an appointment!

Stupid woman claimed for 100 hours overtime in 1 month- numpty!

Sharpkat · 28/04/2012 18:37

What a muppet practice manager Grin

I am in the process of changing Doctors as have moved. I may do a survey of all of the local ones to see which have the most GPs and the least patients and who will do a home visit for an ingrowing toenail Wink

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2012 10:04

Nothing for them at the Soap Awards. Shock Grin

Raahh · 29/04/2012 11:32

I thought the Heston/Marina storyline stood a chance of winning something. Soap awards love a dv storylineHmm.

Clearly Doctors needs an awards show of it's own, possibly with a guest category for Waterloo Road. There could be awards for best/worst depiction of a police officer, gobbiest receptionist, and best acting by a handbag. I'd voteGrin

perceptionreality · 29/04/2012 11:35

The only time I've ever watched Doctors was when dd1 was little (so about 8 plus years ago!) The one thing that struck me about it was that the doctors all had time to call in at patients houses at the end of their day - as if that would ever happen in RL!

Raahh · 29/04/2012 11:40

Blimey! i've just seen the DM article for the Soap awards- did any of them actually use a mirror when they got dressed? And the actress who plays Amira in Eastenders- how did that dress stay on??Shock

Disappointed not to see Freya in a duffle coat on the red carpetGrin

Raahh · 29/04/2012 11:42

perception- they not only do house calls at the end of the day, they can leave mid-surgery to pop in on Mrs Jones at number 27. It's greatGrin. I want to move to leatherbridge!

Sparklingbrook · 29/04/2012 12:14

Mrs Gobby was up for comedy performance. Confused

They need a 'WTF" category really. Grin

Raahh · 29/04/2012 13:00

a 'WTF' category is definitely required. Although they would be very spoilt for choice.

Sparklingbrook · 30/04/2012 13:20

Mum's coming round so I am Sky Plussing so I can fully concentrate later.

Raahh · 30/04/2012 13:51

I'm glad the Shakespeare thing has finished.

Gobby! Far too cheery this annoying joggerGrin

Raahh · 30/04/2012 13:52

[grin]@Cherry trying to organise her wedding.

Raahh · 30/04/2012 13:58

eeewwww. I DO NOT want to know about Juuuuulia and M-t-M in the sackGrin

Raahh · 30/04/2012 14:04

he doesn't know he's getting married then....

Raahh · 30/04/2012 14:11

Cherry saves the day! She needs bean bags, she can set up as a therapist with Elaine!

vix1980 · 30/04/2012 14:25

Ive been lurking on this thread for a while now cos i think its hilarious, esp freya and her hair and coat (i watched her on something in real life and the hair is exactly the same [shocked] ).

anyway i know i can share this with you lot without being judged as i am by my dp but - i now own the same plant pots as julia Blush. is that too embarrasing? i can go 1 further i even sky +ed an episode to show dp to see if he liked them before i ordered them.

i know, im really sad, i'll get my coat, sorry for interrupting!
