Both twin mums I know opted for csections as one of the factors was they were told this could happen, deliver baby 1 naturally and then have a csection as 2nd more likely to get into trouble/present as breech.

I loved gas and air-for me it was like the stage of drunkenness when you know that 1 more drink will be the 1 too many Grin

Kind of enjoyed the diamorphine too-didn't take the pain away but it definitely took the edge off it for me for quite a while
