Anyone watching?

I am purely as parts of it was filmed on our road!
I remember seeing the filming location signs, although they were labelled as "Bound" at the time.
No idea about the programme itself - just spotting local sights :)

Quite enjoying seeing where it's going....

Hulababy · 31/01/2012 21:36

Yeah! They opened the door at last. They are the town houses, like mine, but just down the road!

I'm recording it

Whatevertheweather · 31/01/2012 22:01

Really enjoyed it. The actress playing Gemma is only 22. Pretty impressive.

HeartOfArse · 31/01/2012 22:03

I thought it was predictable and slow.

Hope it livens up next week.

ShineYourButtonsWithBrasso · 31/01/2012 22:06

I'm half watching. Lovely houses Smile

Hulababy · 31/01/2012 22:15

Not convinced I'll watch again; wasn't that bothered re the story.

But kept looking out for our estate :) I still can't believe I never saw any filming considering the film set was on our estate at one end and the filming in the house the other end of the road, so passing my house.

Was good looking out for other parts of the city we knew too.

Ive watched Smile i also live in Sheffield. I used to live in the flats where they filmed the drug dealing Blush, i quite liked trying to place where things were filmed. Bit like watching the full monty Grin.

bringmesunshine2009 · 31/01/2012 22:50

Fairly accurate depiction of going into a prison visit. The women must be far kinder in Sheffield. In London, they look like they'd eat you alive.

If my husband ended up in the chokey I wouldn't do any stand by your man crap, and certainly wouldnt take my poor children on a prison visit.

I have stuck with this and found last nights episode gripping and emotional. It was def a slow start but is proving a good watch now. Great female actors and enjoying how individual stories/characters are progressing and connecting with each other.

Have been really enjoying this from the start - but have struggled to stomach the neurotic mother who visits the son. Had to fast forward most of her scenes because of the OTT facial expressions.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/02/2012 20:49

watching and enjoying

lostboysfallin · 16/02/2012 22:18

I like this
Find it a little disturbing though, I've lived a sheltered life!

ObviouslyOblivious · 16/02/2012 22:26

I've said on another thread about this series that I only watched out of loyalty to my friend who worked on it. But I've stuck with it and I thought this week's episode was fantastic :) Although I kept shouting at the older mother to just grow a pair and stop being so timid!

simpson · 17/02/2012 20:22

I have loved the episodes so far Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/02/2012 12:41

why didnt the dogs sniff the stash?

wondering if mum is going to have an affair with younger dope dealing student?

FlyingTeapot · 18/02/2012 19:53

I thought it was really good, just watched all 3 episodes in a row!

Moodykat · 21/02/2012 22:00

Anyone see tonight's? I thought it was good.

ObviouslyOblivious · 21/02/2012 22:23

It was brilliant, if a bit bleak and depressing :(

FlyingTeapot · 21/02/2012 23:34

Did the DI have a bit of a soft spot for Gemma? Bit odd, the way he touched her hand.

Moodykat · 21/02/2012 23:36

I thought that. All the men in her life are a bit creepy!
Poor little Mason too. I almost cried.

sairygamp · 22/02/2012 07:26

So brilliant last night - it reall got to me :(

OrmIrian · 22/02/2012 16:50

Really enjoying this. Didn't expect to.

I want to take Mason home with me though Sad

1gglePiggle · 22/02/2012 22:20

Still can't watch without thinking Mrs Brittas!

ObviouslyOblivious · 23/02/2012 08:06

Me too 1ggle!
