I'm catholic
And I'm adopted

I'm clearly
Doing it wrong. Hmm

Adoption reasoning is pretty lame

TheOriginalNutcracker · 17/01/2012 21:57

Curious - By choice ??

I've had 3 sections, and personally i think staying anything less than 3 nights is dangerous, but obviously that is only my opinion.

angel1976 · 17/01/2012 21:57

Morecambe dad is making me cry... :( Saying he hopes she (his birth mother) is okay...

thegingerwhinger · 17/01/2012 21:58

Maybe they should try breastfeeding - natural spacing might slow them down a bit! Grin

Sparklingbrook · 17/01/2012 21:59

No. Do say 'never'. Hmm

giraffesCantDonateBoneMarrow · 17/01/2012 21:59

Cant wait for next one

perplexedpirate · 17/01/2012 22:00

Oh. The dad was so upset about his birth mum. :(

ThePathanKhansWitch · 17/01/2012 22:00

Morecambe family seem lovely. The dad so seem so sad.

curiousgeorgie · 17/01/2012 22:01

Nutcracker - I had DD at 8am on a tuesday, got up and was walking around the wednesday morning, then at about 4pm that afternoon they came around and taught me how to give myself that injection (the one that stops blood clots ? I can't remember the name), and sent me on my way!

It was okay, but she is my first baby so my mum was livid! :)

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 17/01/2012 22:01

I wouldnt have that many and I am nuts for having babies (yes the ones that grow up to be children/adults).

My older ones have never really done much for the little ones. DS1 rarely babysits but will pick DS3 up from Nursery sometimes.

I know OH's sisters did a lot of parenting and that is not something I want for my children.

sweetkitty · 17/01/2012 22:01

Thought the exact same thing gingerwhinger that they should all try a bit of extended breastfeeding!

Cyclebump · 17/01/2012 22:02

Me too Angel.

thekidsrule · 17/01/2012 22:02

the family with all the girls on next week is from poole/bournemouth my area, cant wait

TheOriginalNutcracker · 17/01/2012 22:03

Blimey curious, i don't envy you that.

I stayed for a week with my first and 5 days for the other two. I could no way have gone home the day after my first section, even though i was up and about.

fuzzpig · 17/01/2012 22:03

I wish I had even a vague hope of coping with more than the 2 I have :(

curiousgeorgie · 17/01/2012 22:04

I'm now pg with my second so maybe they'll have me out that afternoon! Haha....

mamasmissionimpossible · 17/01/2012 22:06

and there's me panicing about having dc3 in a few weeks [slaps forehead] How do they do it with 14?!

edam · 17/01/2012 22:06

I just can't get my head around how they have time for each of those children... I mean someone in the middle must be queuing for a cuddle with his Mum while she deals with one baby and wipes a toddler's bum and gets an older child into his school uniform...

NotnOtter · 17/01/2012 22:09

no edam i can't
mine are very spaced and i feel the younger ones can sometimes miss out in favour of the teens so have to work to re dress it

PigeonPair · 17/01/2012 22:15

How on earth is the Catholic mum going to home school all her children effectively with newborn twins! Aaaaaaargh!!!!

KalSkirata · 17/01/2012 22:22

did one night after section number 3. I hate hospitals

edam · 17/01/2012 22:27

otter, I'm sure you do just fine - but how many do you have? (I am being plain nosy, btw!)

dinglydell · 17/01/2012 22:28

Absolutely bonkers. I can't see who benefits from having a family of fifteen kids. The kids loose out, the parents are all complaining. Just don't get it.

dmo · 17/01/2012 22:30

My friend has 11 and all their names begin with J Grin eldest is 18 and youngest is 9nths and she wants another one already

cantgetlaidingermany · 17/01/2012 22:31

Yes MrsD I have had that....I feel like saying in response "Do they really! silly me I thought they would be babies forever...." it's the being treated like a moron that gets me the most.
