That poor Bradford family, they are on the bones of their arses. Im sure their hearts are well and truely in the right place.

Dotty342kids · 24/01/2012 21:30

And Fabian, that man is great! If hopelessly optimistic.....

pigleychez · 24/01/2012 21:31

Happy holidays then!

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 24/01/2012 21:31

oops - Sad

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 24/01/2012 21:32

They do their best. They are doing pretty well by the look of it.

They could do with a bit of help.

I think they disprove the myth that all you have to do is have a load of kids and you get given a massive council house.

Dotty342kids · 24/01/2012 21:33

Very good point MrsdeVere!

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 24/01/2012 21:33

How many times a day must that poor bloke hear a little voice going 'DAAAAA-AAAD!' Grin

sailorsgal · 24/01/2012 21:33

I blame the Waltons. Grin

My mother used to say why couldn't we be like them.

NotnOtter · 24/01/2012 21:33

doesn't seem right - surely thy'll have to be re housed?

thekidsrule · 24/01/2012 21:34

the family with all girs bar the boy live in my district

family from Bradford feel very sorry for,to many in a small house, hearts are in right place and personally think they should get a larger house especially as they took in the extra three kids, they are trying their best

and for the love of good stop going on about fruit shoots and lack of veg, typical mn hysteria

Superene · 24/01/2012 21:34

That Donna deserves a medal/5 star child-free holiday. Fabian is unbelievably optimistic.

jaffacakehips · 24/01/2012 21:34

Do you think the families got money for doing these TV programs. I've heard families who go on 1 born every don't.

I just wanted to hug Donna, bless her. Sounds like her and Fabian could do with having a break without children!!

Dotty342kids · 24/01/2012 21:35

I really hope they are getting some support from social services after taking in the extra three. Though sadly, I doubt it.

Grockle · 24/01/2012 21:36

I love Fabian and Donna.

Moln · 24/01/2012 21:36

the difference a bit of space makes to tempers

also you'd think it wise to go easy on the beans when all ae so close together in a small space....

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 24/01/2012 21:36

Errr, my comment on fruitshoots was tongue -in-cheek - and I couldn't give a flying wotsit if they never have an apple between them!

The Bradford family are doing their best in bloody hard circumstances. Not sure I'd be supernanny, cooking 'perfect' meals and that organised in their shoes. Or very calm.

Dotty342kids · 24/01/2012 21:39

I don't think anyone's listening to Dad in that family (of all the girls)

thekidsrule · 24/01/2012 21:40

i hope by showing this programme the bradford family recieve some offers either though social service/council or some charity to help them in some way whether, activities for kids, anything really hope this happens

Moln · 24/01/2012 21:41

so they live in a council house then? I missed the start - if they are doesn't seem right they haven't been given something bigger.

Also a few of you are saying they won't be helped out for taking in her sisters three - not even child benifit?

PictureThis · 24/01/2012 21:41

I'm finding the pink lipstick very distracting.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 24/01/2012 21:41

The children are all clean, dressed and fed.
They are cared for.
They even get to go on holiday.

I am pretty sure its a very difficult family to be a member of but it has huge positives.

I would lay money that Social Services dont have anything to do with those kids and Donna and Fabian get sod all support.

In fact if I wanted to bore you all I could probably do a fairly accurate summary of the train of events from when 'mum couldnt cope' up until this point. Financial, emotional and practical support would not feature heavily.

I hope I am wrong.
