It's going to be crap, without 'proper' guests, isn't it? And dragging it out over 2 nights...

So here we are, after all these months part one of the X Factor final!

I wonder if they are getting rid of one tonight, and just having 2 tomorrow?

They are supposed to be singing a Christmas song- if any of them ruin 'o holy Night' I will be very cross

I think i read that one will be going tonight therefore only two through to tomorrows final will get to sing the winners song. i think it happened that way last year too.

Ooh, is it over two nights? I guess it must be. I'm ridiculously excited- I don't really mind if Marcus doesn't win, as he'll do well without the hand of Cowell up his arse (so to speak), but I'll be really hacked off if Amelia wins. It just feels too fixed. Dd1 went to see Marcus on Wednesday night and said he was great.

I will cry (and not happy tears!!) if Amelia wins! I'm not really sure she is 17 - surely no 17 year old is that hard faced.

it's really shit isn't it? AND I've gone right off the US show after seeing that fiasco with Rachel Crow the other night. Demonstrating that they shouldn't allow 13 year olds to participate, and should never let Nicole Shitesinger loose with a judge's power and a packet of tissues.

I'd forgotten how odd the lion looks. It was part of my childhood Christmas, along with 'Hans Christian Anderson' with Danny Kaye. I had the soundtrack to that. They don't make films like that any more..

Marcus is emphatically NOT an arrogant twat. I know lots of people who know him well, as he lives very locally (within a hundred yards of my house) and works round the corner. He is well-known here and extremely well-liked. He cuts the hair of a friend of mine, and DP has chatted to him a few times. And according to one of the producers who is on Shiney's FB, he was one of the few contestants who wasn't up his own arse.
