Mine:

Brothers & Sisters - I was obsessed with this show from the very first episode and may or may not have shed a tear when I found out it was ending after five seasons. I didn't like the ending, it seemed rushed and story lines were left hanging. Twats.

Friends - Of course. Who didn't love Friends?

Accidentally On Purpose - I'm pretty sure this was cut after the first season so can't have been very popular but I loved it!

Without A Trace - My favourite crime drama, I was devastated when it ended. Why couldn't they have taken NCIS?! Why Without A Trace?!

Angry Angry

Your turn...

cerealqueen me too :)
I do wonder how Rory got on on the Obama press wagon.

She was rubbish in ER though

Dozer · 10/11/2011 22:39

Men in Trees (Anne Heche in Alaska with lots of sexy lumberjack men)

Popbiscuit · 10/11/2011 22:40

Oh, I loved Thirtysomething. I used to watch it when I was a teenager; had a crush on Michael and wanted to be Hope . Was just watching re-runs on netflix the other day and boy, does it look dated now. All those shoulder-pads and perms

Moodykat · 10/11/2011 22:41

Was she in ER? I loved Logan. And Luke. And Lorelei. And of course Paris!

ThisisaSignofthetimes · 10/11/2011 22:43

Stella Street, somewhere Mick'n'Keith are in their corner shop looking for the cling peaches!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 10/11/2011 22:44

Logan turns up in Good Wife, Luke is in The Event. Lorelai turns up in something but can't think what.

Sookie is in Being Erica

Thirtysomething has aged really badly, I could never subject my child to it!! Way too talky. I did love seeing Michael and Nancy in Brothers and Sisters though. I do mourn Brothers and Sisters, it just went!!

I miss 24 so much but it was well time for it too end. I miss the L word, another one that had a stupid time slot. I miss This Life but won't watch repeats. Our Friends in the North I loved and I'm sure there's room for an updated version.

TheOtherKardashian · 11/11/2011 03:31

Oh, there was also a great show on ages ago called Runaway. It aired really late and I used to watch it while feeding DD at like 2AM. Ethan from 90210 (cannot for the life of me remember his real name) was in it. It was cancelled after 9 episodes and we never found out what happened in the end.

Very frustrating Angry

I second Desperate Housewives, The Inbetweeners, ER and Brother & Sisters. I know I was the one who brought up B&S in my OP but I'm still angry it's gone.

Flash Forward. I may be in a minority, but I need to know what happened!

iscream · 11/11/2011 04:52

Dead Like Me. It was a great program.

roundtable · 11/11/2011 05:28

Ooohhh, I know why Medium got cancelled!

It was pulled because the woman it's based on was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she was VILE.

She kept pulling faces and making statements that sounded like theats. The other woman was a bit of a cowbag but it was too far. They cancelled the show straight after it was aired. is the main clip of the main rant, but the episode is split into 3 parts so there are bits before and after. Allison DuBois (person Medium is based on) is the one with the red hair. Scary lady.

I loved, loved, loved Sunset Beach!! I watched a talk thing they did after the last episode and they were so funny about it. They were definately hamming it up as much as they could. Brilliant!

I do get fed up of starting to watch TV series and they just end. Annoying.

roundtable · 11/11/2011 05:49

Sorry, I didn't watch it until after I posted. The first clip, the proper bitchiness starts about 10 minutes in, you have to watch the third part of the episode to hear the rest of the, ahem, 'discussion'. Grin

How the other half live, hey?

Voidka · 11/11/2011 07:35

DH is on a season break, but this is the last series.

Voidka · 11/11/2011 07:45

There was a show on hallmark a while ago called conviction. It was set in the office of the District Attorney and it was really good. It had Stephanie March from L&O SVU nad Milena Govich from L&O.

I liked Close to Home too.

Onlyboys · 11/11/2011 08:34

Spitting image. Can't think of M Thatcher without thinking of the puppet. Imagine what they could have done to Blair and Brown. Whenever a big political scandal happens, like the expenses scandal, I always wonder how Spitting Image would have covered it.

nulgirl · 11/11/2011 09:00

Can't believe only 2 people have mentioned the West Wing. It was the wittiest and best written programme in tv ever. Aaron Sorkin is a god. Would have loved to see how president Santos' term evolved.

Raahh · 11/11/2011 09:24

Just remembered another series Dh and I watched- it was 'Ghost Squad'- about a female cop going undercover to expose corruption in the police force, or something. It had the bloke who went on to play Robin Hood in it. It was totally bonkers rubbish, but very watchable. They didn't do a second series, probably because it was actually a bit crap- but we liked itGrin

and the writer of 'The IT Crowd' has said there won't be another seriesSad I love the IT Crowd- hysterically funny!

Voidka · 11/11/2011 09:25

And Outnumbered is gone too.

Whatevertheweather · 11/11/2011 09:32

TheOther - yes to The Inbetweeners! Only 3 series is criminal. It was hilarious and had so much more scope!

DamnYouAutocorrect · 11/11/2011 09:37

I really liked Party Animals. Saw a re-run a couple of years ago and the script was so sharp, and the performances were tops. Such a shame to be cancelled after one measly series.

Oh and yes, Bodies! That was great.

Raahh · 11/11/2011 09:39

was the recent series of 'Outnumbered' the last? i loved the early series- can't say i'm surprised if they aren't doing any more, i think the children are getting too old. We really had to force ourselves to watch the last series, it just wasn't as funnySad

bintofbohemia · 11/11/2011 09:40

Personally I was a bit gutted when they pulled El Dorado, it was just getting good. Grin

pink4ever · 11/11/2011 09:41

Just remembered another one-Island at war! with phillip glenister pre gene hunt! I loved it an recently watched a re-run on yesterday. Why didnt they do a second series?
