Mine:

Brothers & Sisters - I was obsessed with this show from the very first episode and may or may not have shed a tear when I found out it was ending after five seasons. I didn't like the ending, it seemed rushed and story lines were left hanging. Twats.

Friends - Of course. Who didn't love Friends?

Accidentally On Purpose - I'm pretty sure this was cut after the first season so can't have been very popular but I loved it!

Without A Trace - My favourite crime drama, I was devastated when it ended. Why couldn't they have taken NCIS?! Why Without A Trace?!

Angry Angry

Your turn...

Waking the dead, the body farm just isn't the same.
Father Ted, had to end Sad but was hilarious while it ran.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 10/11/2011 20:52

Tigerbomb me too. "We'll have no trouble here !"

Caz10 · 10/11/2011 20:58

So glad others have mentioned studio 60, I thought it was brilliant and had loads of mileage left in it.

The OC... Sob...when Dawsons creek ended I thought life would never be tge same and then alOng came Ryan and co...fantastic! One tree hill still going for my fix of teen drama!

Bunbaker · 10/11/2011 21:05

Tigerbomb This is a local shop for local people!

I used to love
Roseanne
Cheers - I even went to Cheers bar in Boston (and bought the T-shirt Grin)
Frasier
Golden Girls

Being Human was brilliant
This Life, although the 10 year reunion wasn't much cop

The older sitcoms were funnier - One Foot in the Grave, Only Fools and Horses, Father Ted, The Vicar of Dibley and the first couple of series of Absolutely Fabulous

Others - Bad Girls, Footballer's Wives and Hotel Babylon

Some series went off the boil way before they ended. I used to love Buffy and the X Files, but started getting bored with them.

I hate it when I really get into a series and then they move it to Sky. We don't have Sky and have no intention of subscribing to it either.

I like this thread. Goes nicely with my other thread. Love Film list is full as anything now :)

playdead · 10/11/2011 21:13

Frasier
Friends
Buffy
Angel
Dead like me
Journey Man
Ghost Whisperer

kasbah72 · 10/11/2011 21:44

Whatevertheweather - it is on a break but the next bit will be the last bit!

LtEveDallas · 10/11/2011 21:44

Invasion! Yes that was it! God that's annoying. I was really getting in to it as well.

I miss Buffy, but I think the ending was pretty perfect. It ended before it jumped whereas Angel jumped.

I'd forgotten Jerico, that was good too.

I like Haven on Sci-Fi at the moment...I bet it gets bloody cancelled now.

LtEveDallas · 10/11/2011 21:47

Here's another one, nit sci fi this time tho. Policeman, think he was the older walberg. The showed an incident, then over the next hour show the same incident from the point of view of other people, like his partner, the medics, the victim etc ???? Any ideas??

MangoMonster · 10/11/2011 21:47

So glad someone else misses invasion, I really fancied the main character and his exs new main. Was really getting into it too, however,!weevil never know what happened. Although I think it was based on a book...

Whatevertheweather · 10/11/2011 21:55

Phew Kasbah Smile. Although it went a bit weird when it jumped forward about 10 years and Porter and Preston were suddenly all grown up.

Oh there was a lawyer type series on Living I used to like as well. Can't think what it was called at all though. It was a court room type drama series. The main character, a lawyer was a blond haired single mum. Oooh what was it called?!

acsec · 10/11/2011 21:58

My So Called Life - sob!

Flash Forward

Invasion! I wanted to know what happened!

TooManyBlossoms · 10/11/2011 21:59

Beauty & The Beast. With Vincent the half man half lion subway dwelling beast. I cried when that ended.

CaveMum · 10/11/2011 22:03

West Wing (they could have carried on with the Santos presidency)
The War At Home - I really loved this show, it was really funny and such a shame they only made 2/3 seasons.

Whatevertheweather · 10/11/2011 22:03

Ah found it! Close to Home.

acsec · 10/11/2011 22:03

Oh and Kingdom Hospital had so much more scope, wasn't axed but they should have made more.

Moodykat · 10/11/2011 22:06

Gilmore girls! I love that program but have seen them all twice now!
Need to get some Medium box sets as I've not seen them all and love it!

bibbitybobbitybloodyaxe · 10/11/2011 22:08

Has anyone else said Father Ted ? (I spect they have).

I also loved an obscure little show called Stella Street.

Larry Sanders.

notyummy · 10/11/2011 22:14

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

I'm sure that has been mentioned already though.

cerealqueen · 10/11/2011 22:16

Gilmore Girls. Loved, loved loved it. Thankfully still re-runs on and some of it is on DVD.

Canella · 10/11/2011 22:28

Kasbah72 - wonder if you and I were the only people watching Dirt. I was gutted when it got cancelled.

DownyEmerald · 10/11/2011 22:31

Green Wing - in love with Dr Mac
Northern Exposure
My So Called Life
West Wing
ER
Very happy to watch BlackBooks, Spaced, and Father Ted over and over.

I loved 30sthg when it was on, and was so upset when it finished. I saw re-runs a few years ago, and although some of it was great, I just couldn't see what I saw in the long-haired guy who's name I can't even remember (apart from developing a thing about long-haired guys in general). But having a child made a lot of it more emotional real to me than when I watched it.

TheTamingOfTheShrew · 10/11/2011 22:34

Bodies here too. I even complained to the BBC!

Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes - grr

ItsonlymeMrsDB · 10/11/2011 22:35

Does anyone remember Party Of Five ?

That was good, too.

MynameisnotEarl · 10/11/2011 22:36
