Your favourite shows that ended/were cancelled?

Mine:

Brothers & Sisters - I was obsessed with this show from the very first episode and may or may not have shed a tear when I found out it was ending after five seasons. I didn't like the ending, it seemed rushed and story lines were left hanging. Twats.

Friends - Of course. Who didn't love Friends?

Accidentally On Purpose - I'm pretty sure this was cut after the first season so can't have been very popular but I loved it!

Without A Trace - My favourite crime drama, I was devastated when it ended. Why couldn't they have taken NCIS?! Why Without A Trace?!

I know - then they cancelled it leaving me with old Universal re-runs

Ah yes Sex and the City although it had to finish really. Think they should have left it after the first movie though

Oh and I loved Cold Feet - there's re-runs on Virgin on demand at the moment

'Dead Like Me'- 2 series, it was great.

They made a totally dreadful film, without most of the original cast. It was 2 hours of my life wasted

also loved 'American Gothic'.

It's one of the problems with watching American series- they can get the axe sometimes without warning, even if they have been popular.

Part Animals- (starring a pre-Dr Who Matt Smith), was also great. Only one series (and most of the cast seem to be tied to other things, so no chance it will ever be revived])

We loved 'Law and Order'- watched EVERY episode (Hallmark was forever showing them).

I liked Law and Order Los Angeles but that was cancelled after 1 series.

and SVU isnt the same without Elliott

God I miss Elliot.

So when he just walked out after he got the dad to confess to killing his girlfriend, wife and three kids....he didn't come back?

Cos that was last week's episode and I'm going to be gutted if he does not return to be all square jawed all over the shop.

I am glad I am not the only one who misses L&O LA. Although Universal showed it in rather an odd arrangement which had me a bit confused.

Think it was called Afterlife, about a medium and it had Egg from This Life in it. It was super-spooky and I loved it.

Take heart, Fastweb, you have a fair few episodes of Elliot to go yet. Chris Meloni just didnt renew his contract for season 13, so he's there right up until the season 12 finale. Season 13 is very different with all new much better writers and a new showrunner, but it is Elliotless. So not the same.
